Key West Marriott Beachside Hotel

I just got married at the Beachside on June 2nd, and can't say enough good things about it! The hotel property and all of the rooms are just gorgeous! Our stay was perfect. I've read a couple bad reviews talking about the property not being pretty, etc. and am convinced whoever wrote them had the hotel confused with another property. Everything about the hotel, down to the artwork on the walls was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were also big with very nice bathrooms. Went here on honeymoon. It was disappointing. Not what the website portrayed. Too far away. Ugly place. Will not go back to here.

All I can tell you is this place was wonderful! My Husband and I just got married at Beachside over Memorial weekend. I would recommend it for anyone. Small or big wedding they are very helpful with anything you may want or need. They even left a special surprise for us in our room on our wedding night. Everything at this place is amazing inside and out. If all you did was stay at the resort for your trip it would be a vacation in itself. We arrived after a long drive from orlando. We checked in without any probs and taken to the most beautiful 3 bed apartment on the beach. The bedrooms were huge and the ensuites were just as big. They had proper duvets rather than blankets and the decor of the whole aprtment was fabulous. We had our own kitchen so we didnt try out the breakfast in the main dining room. I have to say that this is the most beautiful resort we have ever stayed at. Everything was new and spotless. The rooms are very plush and comfortable. Most have views with balconies. They have resort views, garden views, and ocean views so you have to decide which one you want. They also have some rooms with no view at all, but it is still a very high end room. If you are smart you will never go stay at this place in Key West. It ruined my visit to Key West. My wife cried because it was such an awful place. That hurt me folks. It is by far one of the most ugliest places I have ever seen. And it is in the middle of nowhere. And it is also way overpriced on everything.

I wanted to let everyone know this hotel differs from what is advertised on the hotels.com web site. First, they say that all 222 rooms have balconies with views. They don't. My room looked out on a wall. I noticed during my stay that the hotel was mostly empty but when I asked if I could switch to a room with a view, I was told "no" because I booked through hotels.com. They spared no expense in the building of this hotel. I'm a travel agent and I've seen a lot of resorts, but this one is top flight for the price. Every detail was carefully thought out, from the door knobs, window and floor treatments to the mirrors, furniture and flat screen, top of the line tv and dvd player. I've been to Key West about 5 times. Stayed in different spots, but nothing like this! My handsome Igor works his charm at the front desk and I can't wait to see him!!! The place is beautiful! + the sun seems to ALWAYS be shining on that hotel, even if its been raining on Duval. Cant wait to be out of the damn Canadian cold and back in the heat of Key West! We stayed at this hotel 2 months after it just opened. The room was clean and very high-end. On the other hand, there was no transportation downtown as advertised because the bus it ordered hadn't come in yet. The man at the hotel advised us where to drive, but parking is difficult during this time of year. We spend hours trying to find a place. Also, there is no real beach, just sand and a bulkhead. Also, there is no vending for a drink of water or soda late. Get a hotel on Duval or call to make sure their bus is in.
