Hyatt Windward Pointe

This place is awesome. We loved it so much when we stayed we bought an vacation ownership there..The price is so much better when you own there...Timeshares have gotten a bad name, and we will now vacation for a much cheaper price for the rest of our lives...It is very nice, plus it is out away from all the commotion. The best hotel we ever stayd in. More than we could expect. Great rooms with awesome balcony and bathrooms. The pools are VERY nice and great service from all the employees. Highly recomended!

Stayed here for 4 nights In November, 2004. We couldn't have been happier with the hotel. Beautiful surroundings, indoors and out. Very clean. This was also a very quiet time to visit Key West...after Fantasy Fest and before the holidays. If you are looking for rest and relaxation, this is the place!

The Hyatt was a Great Place to stay in, you are right across the ocean and the views are tremendous. Location is perfect five minutes from everywhere you want to be including the very famous sunset at Mallory Square.

Stayed here prior to Fantasy Fest. Within walking distance of the airport. Rooms are very well appointed. Nice TV's with remotes men. No wireless connections and Internet access was non existant. Still this is the place you go to get away from that ----. Lovely Place. Highly prized.

Excellent. We can but agree with all the previous reviewers. It far exceeded our expectations. We originally booked for 2 nights & stayed for 4. We would have stayed longer but we could not get a room for the 5th night. As a family with 3 children we liked the fact that the hotel was not in the centre of town. It was quiet & relaxing, even though the hotel was near the airport. Getting the Bone Island Shuttle into the centre was all part of the holiday. Our at the Hyatt Winward Pointe exceeded our expectations! Rooms all have a great view of the Atlantic. Very nice balcony with a telescope. Two full bathrooms with a jacuzzi tub in the master suite and 3 televisions. The office area had Starbucks coffe every morning. Pool area was beautiful with some shady areas and not overly crowded. Less than a mile from Smathers Beach where you can rent catamarans, wave runners, parasail etc. We drove into town (about 4 miles) every evening and paid for parking which was well worth it since there... more

We just returned from our stay at Windward Pointe. Except for Hurricane Frances, and our flights being delayed two days, our trip was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and the units are beautiful. We have 10 year old twins and this was a great place for them. Rented scooters, went on a waverunner tour around the island, enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The shuttle worked out so well we did not even rent a car. Ride to Duval Street only took minutes. Restaurant next door, Martha's, was super. We are already talking about going back... more

This is a great hotel for families. The rooms are very big and had everything you could need. It's easy to stay for a week. There is a washer and dryer in every unit. The rooms were first rate. The only complaint was the sleeper sofa was your typical uncomfortable pull out bed. The hotel itself is situated right next to the airport. There was absolutley no distractions from flights. First time visitors to Key West Aug 25th to 29th, chose the Hyatt Windward Pointe through Trip Advisor recommendations and we were not dissapointed. Newer 2 bedroom units, fully furnished in spotless condition. Grounds and pool were just as impressive. Car is required due to distance to town but you can almost spend entire days at pool and patio. Smathers beach about 1/2 mile walk, is not worth effort compared to the large pool and whirlpool at the Hyatt. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Would not hesitate... more
