Hotel Taodomus

This is one of our best hotel experiences ever. The room was so nicely decorated. It was a pleasure to stay in it. Had a roomy balcony with a fantastic view over the ocean and to the snowcapped Etna. Breakfast - a really good one - was served on the balcony when asked for in the morning. The hotel also has a top location. Easy access to everything. My partner and I stayed at the hotel Taordomus for 2 nights during October, 2007. The hotel is located on Corso Umberto, the main street of Taormina and is very near to the shops, restaurants and bars. It is a small hotel with 9 rooms. Breakfast can be served in your room or downstairs in the communal area. Breakfast was served by the helpful staff and the selection was very good. Our group of six spent four nights it this boutique hotel in October and found it to be a complete and charming delight. located on corso umberto,the main street in the town it was within walking distance of many shops, restaurants , churches and historic sites such as the ancient Greek theater., With only nine beauriful and clean rooms it was like staying in a private residence.It was Sicily at its best. The Taodomus is perfectly located in the old town right on the Corso Unberto. The rooms are comfortable & beautifully decorated. The option of breakfast served in your room is a lovely idea. We had a great breakfast on our balcony with views over the bay & across to Etna, and the hustle & bustle of downtown Taomina below us. The staff are extremely helpful & accommodating. We would recommend this lovely hotel to anyone.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. In fact, it was absolutely wonderful. Our room was a delight, and our breakfast on the balcony was a treat. Olga, the daughter of the owner, was friendly and extremely helpful. The location of the hotel couldn't be better - right on Corso Umberto I, within walking distance from the parking lot at Porta Catania. I recommend this hotel highly.

The Taodomus Hotel is a beautiful family run hotel. The hotel has a great location just on the west end of the main strip. The rooms are all new and beautifully decorated and the breakfast was wonderful. We loved our stay so much we cancelled our plans to stay in Palermo and extended our stay at the Taodomus and toured the east coast of Sicily. Hotel Taodomus is located right next to the main street of Taormina with variety of shops and restaurants. Despite the central location hotel ain't noisy at all. Hotel doesn’t have a pool, but we didn't mind that. Next to Taormina you can find many beautiful beaches like Isola Bella and Giardini Naxos. Hotel room was very clean and comfortable. we had a lovely stay at the taodomus which is a small family run hotel. the rooms have all been decorated to commission, each one different, and very clean. when we got there our room's airconditioner was not working and they very kindly did not charge us for the night's stay ! also the breakfast was like being at home,being fussed over by linda. we liked it so much, we went back to taormina two days later and stayed there again !

Came to this hotel on the recommendation of a friend. I was not disappointed! Located in the Jewish Quarter in a quiet street a stone's throw from the city center, the Taodomus is a great hideaway for those that want to be in the thick of it all but still want to sleep. Each room has a balcony and soundproofed from neighbouring rooms. The proprietress was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble - they arranged Vespas for us to explore the island at short notice. Finally, the cakes at breakfast were just the ticket!

My boyfriend and I spent a week mid-summer in this gorgeous hotel and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The setting is stunning, the climate ideal and the locals more than friendly. All in all I really can't think of a bad word to say about the place. Other than the hotel website, we didn't know much about the place before going and were pleasantly surprised. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a picturesque getaway - an excellent wee find!
