Hotel Savoia

I led a group of eight on a tour of Italy in April 09. The five nights at the Savoia Hotel was the best experience, Hotel lovely, staff great and location and view unbelievable. Recommend it to all and hope to go back!

Excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff We loved the location and we were upgraded to a larger room since we were there at the beginning of the season No extra charge just very niced staff We will definitely come back to the Savoia again

I stayed at the Savoia for four nights in March. The location is excellent in this beautiful town, near shops and beach and adjacent to bus stop for out of town trips. The staff were most friendly and helpful. Rates were most reasonable and since the hotel wasnt overly full at this time of year both myself and a freind were upgraded with no extra charge. I highly recommend it on all counts.

Hotel Savoia was absolutely fantastic! It located in the heart of the beautiful city of Positano on the Almalfi coast, and was about a 5 min. away from the beach, and boats to take you around the Almalfi area. The hotel was gorgeous. We had 5 people in our room and the room was extremely spacious and clean. We had a gorgeous view of everything! You could see the ocean from one window, and the whole coast line from another. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Assisted me in figuring out how to get there and were happy to answer my many questions regarding ferries and transportation. Reservations and questions were made via e-mail and all e-mails were responded to with a prompt reply the next day, which I found very professional. Room was clean and very cute. And let's not forget the great view from our balcony!! Hotel is also very well located in Positano. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at Hotel Savoia was excellent! The rooms are spacious with a spectacular view. Very clean, hand painted tiles throughtout the hotel. The continental breakfast was just right and the service wonderful. Regina, at the front desk, couldn't have been any more helpful! -always there with a smile and the right advice or suggestion! The location is great, only a few minutes from all the shops, the beach and jet boats.

Very nice family running the hotel, helpful with car service to train, restaurants, and other suggestions. Large room, enormous bath, beautiful terrace view too! Stayed there during the World Cup Games and the enthusiasm for Italy's team was contagious. Fireworks, flags and all!!!

We stayed at the Savoia for just 3 nights, but wished it could have been longer. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the beach and a lot of the shops/bars/restaurants. Immaculate and traditionally decorated room, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, and amazing views from our balcony. We thought it was very good value for the great location, and the breakfast was very good. The staff were extremely helpful and English-speaking, they could not do enough for us but were not intrusive. We would stay here again.

We travelled to Positano in June of 2004 and stayed at the Savoia Hotel and were very happy with it. We had a corner room, so we had a lot of space and a balcony overlooking the water. It was gorgeous! Our room was very clean and the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is not one of the fancy, luxe accomodations but it is very comfortable and pretty affordable for this resort town. We spluged and stayed in a deluxe room. We had a huge terrace with great sun and comfortable outdoor furniture. The bed was great and the floors and walls were decorated with tradtional multi colored tiles. We had a small problems with ants our first night but the hotel staff got rid of them right away. The hotel is near the beach and not a long hike uphill when you are tired.
