Hotel Residence Henri 4

The hotel is in a perfect spot for Notre Dame, it is comfortable, friendly, and I would recommend it. I will certainly stay again.

This is a lovely small hotel in a great central location. It's position on a small cul-de-sac meant that it was very quiet. The room was a good size with attractive furnishings. We found the staff, especially Odile, to be very friendly and helpful. Odile even managed to reserve a table for us at a lovely local restaurant on one of the busiest nights of the year (Valentine's night!) We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We have stayed in Paris several times over the years, although this was our first visit with our 2 children. The Henry IV is situated at the end of a small Cul De Sac adjoining a typical Parisian road. The area is quiet and clean and feels safe. There are 2 Metro stations nearby and many restaurants suitable for both couples and families within less than 5 minutes walk. We have just returned from a wonderful 5 day (4 nights) in Paris. Our hotel selection was based on location, convenience, price and other reviews. The Hotel Residence Henri IV met all of our qualifications and exceded our expections!! The desk staff was friendly, helpful and fluent in English. The rooms were very clean and well looked after and, in our case, freshly painted. Very quaint. Sheets were rough, but room was nice. Quiet. Loved the architecture and decor. Very impressed with the staff. Helpful as a concierge service and with getting breakfast on our early morning departure. Spoke english well and always ready to help with a question. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Our visit to Henri IV was thoroughly enjoyable. As it has been on previous occasions, the staff was attentive and helpful, the rooms quiet and clean and the accomdations were comfortable. We stayed in two different rooms over the space of a week, no. 32 and no. 62. No. 62 was unique, and charming in a way, but the wireless connection was not available that high up in the building. Wonderful, parisian experience! We are an Australian family of 2 adults and 3 kids aged 15,13 and 9 years. We booked 2 rooms through the website which had a special winter deal so was great value for a hotel in this location. We arrived at night and were warmly welcomed with chocolates and a card and as it turned out, each floor only has 2 rooms so we were the only occupants of the 5th floor! Spent two nights at this hotel - got a good rate on a superior room - the room was very nice - spotlessly clean - there was absolutely no street noise (or at least I did not hear any as I slept so well in the very comfortable bed). The location is perfect for a typical Paris visit (if you take the RER from CDG and have some luggage it's better then to transfer to Line 10 and get out at Maubert Mutualité) I felt the some of the bathroom fittings should be renewed in keeping with the "superior room " tag and I cerrtainly was not tempted... more

I spent 2 nights at this great hotel with my boyfriend. We were on holiday in Paris for the first time and had previously spent 1 night at the Sully Hotel that is in the same street. The place was so dirty and decandent that I didn't want to spend more time there! Luckily I walked by the Henry IV and I asked if there were available rooms. We stayed at the hotel for 6 Days for our honeymoon. I dont think we could have chosen a better hotel in our budget. The location of the hotel is great!
