May 2006 was our second holiday to this hotel. We stayed all inclusive as a family with 2 young children and were even more impressed than last year. Fantastic food, very welcoming and helpful staff, 1st class entertainment team and perfect location. We would recommend this hotel to everyone. more

Stayed at ledra beach in may 2006. expecting better quality that our normal 3 star but in some ways was even worse. The reception is excellent but the reception doubles as a bar which is very strange and there is limited seating space. However the bar staff there were outstanding. The rooms are average size but could defenetly do with updating. Same with the en-suite which was very cramped and had poor quality fittings. The Ledra Beech Hotel in Paphos located on a tiny beech with rocky access to the sea. There are limited sun beds and chairs outside. The public areas inside have limite seating their availability becomes exaserbated by the influx of wedding which take over. A wedding is a special time but the hotel is taken over by as many as 9 (nine) in one day. We hve stayed at the Ledra on three occasions always because the food is fantastic and the staff are really lovely, but I think this is the last time we will stay there as the bathrooms are now in need of refurbishment. The taps and showers definitely need replacing - our bath tap was hanging off the wall. It was taken over by Iberostar and perhaps they do not want to spend any more money on the hotel. Got this holiday as a late deal, very cheap, took 3 children, 10, 11 and 12, all inclusive. Hotel clean and good standard. Rooms cleaned daily. Mixture of clientelle, either blue rinses, wedding parties or couples with very small babies, 99% English. Food very good, lots of variety and well cooked, (don't go into the restaurant before 8.30 pm due to small children screaming and banging on the table with cultery) drinks very good, not watered down, service also good, staff friendly and helpful. I stayed at the Ledra beach from 2-9th May, we went with two friends. We had a fantastic week everything was perfect. The hotel is amazing there is nothing i can say about the hotel that is bad! Everything was great. The rooms were fine we didnt find them too small, we were in the main building on the 3rd floor with a lovely sea view, i could lie in bed and still see the sea. Have just come back from the Ledra Beach hotel and thought it was lovely. The rooms are basic but clean and tidy, bath rooms could do with some work though. The food is great - lots to choose from and well cooked. Food is also available all day for all inclusive guests so you can eat when you want to which is very handy. The bar staff are friendly and you don't have to wait long to be served - there are also waitresses keeping you topped up! My husband and I stayed at the Iberostar Ledra Beach for 7 nights from the 25th April 2006. I have to agree with the review from the 9th May in relation to the look of the hotel - great until you see the rooms! The rooms do need updating but it was clean, comfortable and big enough for the two of us. I also agree about the receptionists not being the friendlist of people! First impressions of the hotel are great, then you see the bedrooms! The facilities are good, the food excellent and the entertainers are better than that. Dali, Dino and the gang made the holiday, taking their time each day to come and say hello and persaude you into the daily activities. We travelled with our 8 year old son and he had a ball. Would recommend this hotel to anyone providing the hotel upgrade the rooms and the hotel receptionists need to get personalities but apart from that great. more
Wedding in paphos from impulse
I went to this hotel with high hopes after reading some good reviews on this website and from the broucher from thomas cook. Unfortuantly me and my partner were both dissapointed from the start. We were promised a room upgrade as we were getting married at the hotel during our stay.
