Hotel La Posada

It was love at first sight. We got in late and it seem to be no inconvenience to anyone. The staff was there to help and that they did with much caring. Thanks to all there. We will be back if only to say thanks in person again.

One word for the POSADA ROSA Hotel......FABULOUS! If you truly want to relax and "get away from it all, this is the place. This 26 unit hotel gem is an exceptional find! What a great place!! We spent four days there in August, far to few but hope to return on our next visit to Manzanillo. The staff are friendly and kind and the place is spotless. The breakfasts are tasty and the service was great. Try the Huevos Mexicanos con Tortillas, very good. Juan and Lisa are a great source of information about places to eat and things to do. What can I say except awesome, Lisa and Juan are great, they meet our every need. Roberto their manager is also awesome. His knowledge of the town and its history and restaurants was a real treat. This was the best two weeks we have every spent in a hotel. We loved the quiet and comfortable room. We had a view of the ocean and pool that is just beyond words and the bed was one of the most comfortable that I have ever slept on, in fact we asked where they got it and are in the process of buying one. I hope to be one of the regular, yearly visitors to Hotel La Posada. Everything about this hotel and my visit to Manzanillo (May 22 through June 2, 2004) was just great. The owners (Juan and Lisa) were very friendly and made me feel right at home. What a vacation! I have never felt so relaxed as I did at the La Posada. The service was excellent thanks to Chewy the cook and Roberto the manager. The owners, Juan and Lisa took the time to visit with the guest and to make sure your every need was taking care of. The employees are always hard at work cleaning or checking to see if you need anything. Juan is working hard himself to make improvements on the inn. I look forward to coming back and seeing the improvements Juan has made to the place.

Had a fab 10 days (July 7th to 17th) with my husband and daughter (almost 4). I did heaps of research to find the ideal place for our family that would allow us relaxation, safe beach and access to local sights etc. Couldn't have been more spot-on with Hotel La Posada. 25th wedding anniversary trip to Manzanillo and Hotel La Posada from 5-19-04 thru 5-29-04. I did extensive research before I left, never having been to Manzanillo before. Was thinking about staying at Las Hadas Golf Resort but couldn't pass up the great reviews on La Posada, especially for at least one third the cost. We sure made the right decision. My son and I studied Spanish in Mexico for six months in 2003, and we went to Manzanillo for ten days of vacation mid-sessions. The hotel was just as pleasant as could be, relaxation was in abundance, the sea water warm, and the beach mostly empty. We caught two sailfish and a marlin the first Saturday we were there, and after that the cook made la comida for us every day from the marlin and sailfish we brought back to the hotel. WOW! What a difference! My first visit last year to La Posada was most enjoyable, the staff & food was excellent, but things did need a little attention. Because of the small inn ambience and relaxing atmosphere, as well as the great value, I decided to make a return visit. Since Juan & Lisa, the new owners, have taken over, the change is phenomenal!
