Good value for Money
from vdurrer
This hotel is really good value for money. The location is really convenient within the historic part of the city. It is very close also to Dante Piazza metro station. The staff is very friendly as well. The rooms are small, but very adequate with a comfortable bed. There is no AC but there is a ceiling fan. It was very hot when I was in Naples, but the fan was just fine. It is quiet if you are in the back of the hotel, which I would recommend. I stayed there for four nights and would stay there again. The stairs up are not as difficult as...

A friendly budget option in the heart of Naples' Old City
from KJA3
Across the street from the University of Naples and only steps from Naples' historic core, the Hotel Europeo is in a great location for exploring Naples. It's also quite near several bus and tram lines. I felt quite safe in the area, even at night - an important consideration for solo female travelers. As other TA reviewers have noted, the entrance is through a gate and down a short alley; check prior comments or ask the hotel for detailed directions. It's easier to find than it sounds! And do remember the .10 euro for the elevator!<br...

Its a long way to the top
from VicM
We are a family of 4 and stayed in 1 quad room. The hotel occupies the 4th floor in an appartment building, you need to climb 9 flights of stairs to get to the hotel (you can take an elevator which just fits 1 person and a bag - costs you 10 euro cents). The hotel room was tight, with 2 bunk beds. Room was clean and had a fridge. The bathroom was also clean, but in need of an upgrade. We had enough hot water for 1 shower on the first morning and then never had hot water again for the 3 nights we were there. The hotel staff...

Awesome hotel!
from littler78
At first I was scared of Naples from all the reviews I had heard, but its really a great city full of lively people. Thanks to this hotel, we were able to really experience Naples to its fullest. This hotel was in an Italian apartment building, so you really get a feel for the Italian culture. Located right across from the University, the hotel is safe & the staff is friendly & helpful. They speak english & really helped us with directions. Located near Piazza Bellini for good bars/pubs at night. This was a great way to really explore...

Great Hotel
from HilaryM
Finding the hotel isn't that easy. The street is easy to find, but the hotel is not visible from the street. There is a small carpark, with a little sign with the hotels name on it. You need to go to the side of the carpark, and press the buzzer for the hotel, they will buzz you in. Then you need to go to the end of the alley, and get buzzed in the building, and the hotel is on the 4th floor. But once you get there, the hotel is nice. It is not flash, but it is very clean and tidy. It is comfortable. Excellent value for...

Great deal and location!
from tmp24
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and would definitely stay here again. The location is right in the center of things and the people that worked at the hotel were very helpful. The room was clean and as safe as any place could be in Naples. (Naples is a little nuts...) As other reviewers have said you need to have 10 cents to use the hotel so keep that in mind on the day you arrive with your bags! The entrance is also a little confusing but it's still pretty easy to find. All in all a cheap, good price and nice hotel.
Clean, nicely decorated, good stuff
from A TripAdvisor Member
Me (28) and my girlfriend (about the same age) went for a weekend at begining of March and I would highly recommended Hotel Europeo Flowers for sure. Well, apart from the confusion we had gettting in (once we'd got a cab from airport for E20 we got confused - you've gotta ring the bell, go through the gate -ignoring what looks like the entrance, turn right walk right to the end) it was great. The hotel is on the fourth and third (maybe more) floor of an italian apartment building. It is the real deal, Italians live in building too, and...

Cheap
from worldcitizen16
If you have to go to Naples, this hotel is cheap, clean, with good security and helpful staff - when arriving the taxi driver charged us 3 times the rate so on our departure, staff organised an honest taxi driver. The hotel is near to the train station (for trips to Pompei), in an historic area and whilst just one star rating, each room, though basic has its own bathroom and TV.
Great Location for lively fun
from carmex21
we stayed in the Europeo Flowers for 3 nights at the start of April. We stayed in a 'suite' called the tropicana suite. this is really budget accomodation but of a better standard. we had a double bed, lots of storage, a fold down sofa bed, two tv's ! and a private shower room and toliet. we had our own little balcony. the room was cleaned every day and was very quiet. it is located in a brilliant part of the city if you are looking for a lively city buzz. because it is a student area at night there are lots of people milling...

Great budget hotel
from A TripAdvisor Member
We stayed at this hotel in the summer of 2004 and were very content with our choice. We only paid 55 euros for a double room with private facilities and, very importantly, airconditioning. The room was clean and was nicely decorated with a fresco painted on the wall. The hotel is very centrally located, on a side street of the Corso Umberto I, and the only unpleasant thing about it (except of course for those terrible Italian towels) was the fact that we had to climb several flights of stairs to get to our room. But for a very small fee...
