This hotel is truely a gem!
from megscar
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Chancilleria earlier this month. It is extremely comfortable (WITH 1 BED which is hard to find in Spain!!!) and very well decorated. One of the things I liked most about this hotel was that it is environmentally friendly. We stayed in the room on the roof and we loved the privacy it gave us. The grounds and gardens are very pretty, I'm sure when they mature it will be breath taking! The breakfast was very tasty, there was something different almost every morning. We also ate at "Sabores",...

Can't say enough good things about this hotel
from greenthumbs27
This is a relatively new hotel - 3 star but definitely acting like a 4 star. We arrived in Jerez and went directly to the Oficina de Turismo whose staff made the recommendation. From the time we arrived until the time we left we were made to feel very welcome by the owners and staff alike. The Restaurant Sabores in the hotel is first-rate, offering a variety of tasty, innovative dishes. Miquel the Maitre d' was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the food and wine (and rightly so). The layout of the hotel with the courtyard,...

Fabulous new Hotel
from franhan34
We had a weeks stay at this gorgeous hotel, situated in the old part of Jerez. The hotel is imaginatively decorated and furnished, with very clean rooms andincredibly comfortable beds. The owners and their staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Happy to ensure we were able to make the most of our weeks stay, arranging tickets to venues and restaurant bookings for us. Sadly we were only able to eat the fantastic food in their own restaurant on one occasion as it was fully booked for the rest of the time. Never mind we'll be...

Ideal base for visiting Jerez
from MarkGEssex_UK
When planning a short break in Jerez I picked this hotel more or less at random from the local tourist board website, and was delighted with the outcome. It's in a relatively quiet location in an part of town fairly close to the centre, that is undergoing a lot of refurbishment - the surrounding streets can be a bit of a maze at first so you need to take a street map when you go out. As the hotel's only been open a short while, everything inside is very clean and comfortable. Most rooms face inwards and open off a balcony overlooking...

Relaxed, family run hotel.
from TheYellowBellies
We stayed for 10 nights and received a very warm welcome from Antonio, Joanna, Jody and Alejandro at the this boutique style hotel. They provided good company and lots of help and advice. Even though there's no on site car parking, Alejandro found a car parking space for us, a short walk from the hotel. The hotel has several spacious rooms with plenty of seating areas and overall there's a feeling of openess throughout. Rooms are clean and furnished in a minimalist style with modern bathrooms. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from...

Superb
from Asul82
We have only stayed overnight in the hotel, but what would have otherwise been only a convenience, was made into a wonderful experience in its own right by the delightful people at Hotel Chancilleria. Tasteful, charming.... this hotel captures the essence of Jerez. Tucked away in a narrow street with its heavy wooden door, it will never prepare you for the stunning lush interior and breathtaking roofscape. Breakfast on the roof on its own makes it worth returning for. Truly beyond its three-star rating and three-star prices!!! Well done
A liitle gem.
from nnelgrallim
Having arrived at our original choice of accommodation at the Andalusian town of Jerez to find it practically uninhabitable, we frantically scoured the town on foot looking for an alternative. Happily we stumbled across this little gem of a hotel in an atmospheric quarter of the old town, minutes from as many Tapas bars and restaurants as you could possibly wish. Owner Joanne confirmed a superior room was available and that the hotel had only been opened 3 months before. You could tell. Everything looked new but authentic. A stylish fusion...

Thoroughly recommended
from Woofchowski
So many other hotels could learn from this place. It's a splendid family run business where nothing is too much trouble - you're met with a personal greeting (and fluent English) and the atmosphere is more like a home than a hotel. This incident sums the place up well: I asked if it was possible to hire a bicycle locally, it wasn't, so instead the owner's son offered to lend me his. You don't get that at the Four Seasons. Rooms are immaculate, modern and simply decorated but cool (as in temperature, welcome respite from the heat...

Tasty and tasteful!
from gwbc00
We spent five days and nights in this recently opened hotel in the historic centre of Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, a city we had never visited before but which we would be delighted to return to. The owners, who were extremely welcoming, English-speaking and always ready to suggest local places of interest , have refurbished and decorated the building beautifully in a modern, tasteful style - elegant and comfortable. We particularly appreciated their insistence on eco-friendly features. It was a little too cold to sit out on...

truly memorable
from scottishjourno
I had a truly memorable stay at this excellent hotel, which we discovered by accident. It is a new hotel but i gained the impression that the eager and friendly staff were genuine and helpful. A colleague and myself were really well looked after in lovely boutique style rooms. The restaurant. What can I say? Spanish cooking has rocketed up the gastronomic league in recent years but much of it is too clever by half with a a foam of this and emulsion of that, bacon and egg ice cream etc. Here we had top quality andalucian...
