Hotel Belvedere

Kindly owner staff very good breakfast, out of the usual in Italian hotel. Beutyful lake wiew from the balcony, we loved our 4-days stay at Belvedere Hotel and will soon be back!! PA/ From Sweden

We stayed a week at Hotel Belvedere; so restful and peaceful. Rooms were spotless and Sergio and Christina attentive hosts. Restaurant below is run by same family. Views from lake facing rooms are spectacular

First week of September five days staying in nice hotel with 12 rooms located on the lake with beautiful views of a small harbor. This family hotel is still run by owners, and Sergio and Christina are very pleasant and friendly people. Everything is very clean and breakfast was very nice.

My wife and I stayed in Hotel Belvedere for 8 nights. Initally our room was smaller than we expected but this was my own fault for not booking a superior room. As soon as a room became available we were upgraded, at no extra expense, to a superior room. Our hosts Sergio and Christine are beautiful people who will go out of their way to keep their guests happy. Very clean throughout. The location is stunning right on the lake.

it's just delightful and charming hotel. A small, very well-groomed. Very comfortable large room with good bathroom. In the evenings cool to sit on the terrace and watch the lake and the morning breakfast with a view of the scenery. The owners have bikes and will be happy to give it to you and explain where better to drive and walk. There is a wi fi. This is the best hotel ofour trip to Italy. Family from Saint-Petersburg

I canceled reservations a week in advance, by email and owner confirmed. I booked the initial dates with booking.com and then added 1 night directly with the owner. When I sent the owner email to cancel he confirmed the cancellation with one vague sentence "your reservation has been cancelled", in a timely matter. I then wrote back to be sure that the entire reservation was cancelled. He then waited 2 days to respond (so it would be less than a week) to say that I need to cancel the rest of the reservation directly with booking.com. SLEAZY... more

The great appeal with this hotel is the wonderful couple that run it. They are always cheerful, extremely helpful and can communicate well even though they speak limited English. The position is very good next to the lake with parking and a grassy area adjacent to the front. It is a coupe of kms from the real tourist centre of Sirmione but that means it is away from annoying crowds. Wonderful location overlooking Lake Garda. Run by lovely family and who create a very friendly atmosphere. Try to get one of the four rooms that have lake views and sit on the balcony with a cool drink - heaven. Breakfast is a buffet with a very wide choice. The breakfast room overlooks the lake from an elevated position. It's a 30 minute walk to the old town of Sirmione where there is a wide choice of excellent restaurants. Me and my boyfriend went for a trip to Lake Garda during June in 2008 and we spent a week at Hotel Belvedere. The owners were fantastic. They welcomed us in a friendly way.. they even called us when we arrived at the airport to check if we arrived safely and if we needed directions. The view from the hotel room was wonderful.. the hotel was very clean and the breakfast was delicious every day.
