Hard Rock Hotel

My cousin and I stayed in thie hotel for two days in May, and we both love it!!!!!! The food in the restaurant is pretty good and offeres large variety. Especially love the fruits for it's freshness and taste!! We spend an afternoon by the pool, it was an awesome experience. We then took a nap in our room. Room was comfortable. Stayed in this hotel for a holiday for 10 days and had a really great time. The hotel is located to the east of the town, about ten mins walk from the main bars and cafes and is just across the road the great beach. The rooms are OK, if not slightly small, but are clean and modern. The cable TV is good with the usual selections of movie channels together with MTV's own music channels. The pool complex is excellant with a seperate shallow lagoon area that the kids can plan in, the hard rock staff also run games and play music all day... more

I stayed here recently, based on the great reviews on this site. 1. The rooms are smallish, and dorm like. Although there is a balcony, the plastic white chairs on the balcony are unpleasant, and there is very little privacy since there is no shade, trees, etc. to block a guest who is on the balcony. 2. The bathrooms are made of concrete, small and very no frills. The very sunken bathtub is dangerous and hard to get in and out of. My husband (who is 6 feet) actually tripped and hurt his foot while stepping out of the tub.... more

This is a great hotel, very simpel. I went with my friend on arivel we recived a warm welcome, but you get used to it in Thailand, check in was very quickly done. The hotel itself is beautiful the pool is huge and looks like a lagoon, alot choise of food; The room was very good, the twin beds here are almost as big as two double beds, nicely decorated with huge posters of celebritys on back of the beds and a nice sound cd player to play your cd's. This hotel, in a convenient location of the tourist/resort city of Pattaya, Thailand, was quite pleasant. The pool facilities was quite extensive- big pool, beach chairs and a nice atmosphere, enclosed from the outside. The rooms were ok- high ceiling and clean, but not much of a luxury class. The shower was awkward in that you had to climb almost a meter ledge to get into it. Lobby was tastefully decorated with typical Hard Rock paraphenelia, definitely more interesting than most other hotel lobbies! All-you-can-eat breakfasts... more

I have stayed in Pattaya no less than six times over the last year and stayed at the other so called 4-5 star Hotels in the area Eg the Marriot. If you want a nice hotel and not worried about saving 10-20USD a night then stay here. Everything is great.All the rooms and facilities are modern, and the staff simply the best. Don't worry about the extra walk to walking street. Plenty of Baht buses all hours for 10b. Also very girl friendly.

Asolutley brilliant Hotel. Buffet breakdast in excellent. Pool games and surroundings terrific. Very central with massages across the road on the beach. Am going again in 2 weeks and staying Hard Rock again. Can't beat it.

I stayed at the HR Hotel three days in March 2005. This hotel is a truly 4 star hotel. It is across the beach. The room is nicely decorated with rock stars. It has a CD player in the deluxe room. Beautiful swimming pool. It also has a sand pool for the kids and a miniture water slide for the kids. Internet stations with flat screens in the loby. Very friendly staffs. About a 15 minute walk to the Walking Street or take the taxi for 10 bhat.

I stayed at the HRH in early nov.04.the place is great,the staff super friendly,and cool.this is a great honeymoon or couple retreat.(single guy's might not like it) the backyard(pool area)is top notch.if you book the superior room you get a free bungelow rental,and other cool freebies(internet,etc).the resturants are good,but the gormet dinner buffet is a must do. as far as the HR club scene,watch out,no watered down drinks here,and plenty of good music and dancing. the property is a little far from walking street and jonteim... more
