Arriving to the Gansevoort of Turks and Caicos, my boyfriend and I were delighted with the strickenly beautiful view. The modern, elegant decor of the pool really attracts the eye. The aqua blue water in contrast with the milky white sand places one in a state of awe. The sheek rooms are indescribable! The restaurant, Bagatelle, was magnificent! Delicious to say the least. The views are beautiful, the place is very modern to the point of non-user-friendliness. Things like the sinks being uncomfortably positioned, glassed-in showers in the middle of the rooms leaking out onto the floor, and other minor inconveniences. No electricity for an hour, non functioning elevators and things like that I suppose happen, but are not supposed to when you are paying over $400 a night. A chic new hotel with endless offerings. The property and finishes are unbelieveable. Very well appointed, modern condo/hotel/spa with nothing but beautiful views and a warm breeze. It is virtually impossible to not see the water from any view on the property (unless you really make an effort). The food is fantastic, the wine list is great and the management make you feel right at home. What a great place. No expense was spared, no detail left unturned and the views! Wow. Dont miss this one.

I recently visited the new Gansevoort Turks and Caicos. I have visited a few islands in the Caribbean (PR, St. Martin, Trindad, Tobago, and Jamaica) and this hotel is by far the best I have ever stayed in. The rooms would be considered luxurious in New York or London. The beach is probably one of the best in the world and feels like you're walking on freshly cleaned silk sheets. The hotel had only been open two weeks when I went and I fully expected that there would be some issues b/c the hotel was just launching. However, I have to say I was very impressed; the hotel was great. Gorgeous design and intimate feel--and it's definitely more of a boutique hotel vs. resort. Unlike so many of the resorts that are scattered throughout Provo that are very ornate, Gansevoort is sleek and minimalist. My wife and I stayed at the hotel for our honeymoon - the service was outstanding, the staff was amazing, the location was perfect. We have absolutely no complaints. You can't go wrong booking this hotel. The perfect getaway hotel, modern with a hint of Caribbean. We cannot wait to go back. Word of advice, rent a 4X4 if looking to explore the island.

we just returned from a weeks stay at the Gansevoort Turks & Caicos. our stay was during their "soft opening" and there was nothing soft about it (accept the fine frette linens). we were greeted by a manager and welcome drinks. the hotel arranges for transportation to and from the airport. From the moment we arrived at Gansevoort Turks and Caicos we knew we were in a very special place. The hotel lobby opens onto a beautiful pool and off behind is the stunning beach and incredible ocean. In a matter of seconds we forgot about the -20 weather we had left just 6 hours earlier. My fiance and I decided to look at Providenciales as a wedding destination, for April 2009, despite the fact that neither of us had been there (but we had been to lots of other Caribbean islands and knew we didn't want those). I took a trip to Provo alone in January to scout possible locations. Gansevoort wasn't finished at the time but the second I saw it I knew it was the one. It's breathtaking.
