I LOVE CLUB MARTHA'S!!!!!!! 1st year there but the family i was with had been before and they found a great place. the rooms had been done from when they were there before and they were great. didnt cook in the appartment at all but the facilities were there. the shower was amazing! so powerful! actually hate the shower in my house now! the rooms were just so clean and everyone was really friendly and helpful. the club reps are fantastic and really fun. the shows they put on were brilliant.



will deffinitely be going back next year, but maybe a bit earlier so there is a bit more of a buzz about the place as the season was ending when we were there but i would recommend it to anyone but especially families with young kids! they will love the Molly Club!



oh and the food in the complex was amazing too!!:D:D:D

Was stayin in Club Marthas Appartments for 2 weeks. Been going there for 2 years now and it is just great! Entertainment for all ages, rooms are superb (Best shower aswell, ha!), staff all very kind, helpful and friendly. In the 2 years that we have went there has been different Club Reps and all of them are excellent, very fun, chatty, outgoing young people! Would definately recommend it to families with children of all ages! GO CLUB MARTA!!!!!

My husband, my 8 year old daughter and I spent 5 days at Marthas and had a lovely time in a self catering studio. The studio although small was sufficient for our needs however, if we had have been staying for 2 weeks it would have become tiresome as we had to put our daughter's bed down every morning to make some room. In saying that the staff were friendly and helpful, especially as our flight in was late and we were very tired. Apartments and pool were clean and food reasonably priced and very enjoyable. Overall we had a really good time. Our only other complaint was that the air conditioning was switched off during the night and the apartment became very stuffy and hot.

i have just returned from club martha's and we had a great holiday, myself and two son's we were also there last year and will probably go again next year as there is plenty to do for all ages and the apartments are outstanding and they have all just been redecorated since july 2007, the staff are so helpfull and nothing is a bother to them so yes one of the better places to go to in cala d'or

We stayed at Club Martha's with our two children (8&5). On arrival we were greeted at the reception area by a very friendly and efficient member of staff. On each occasion I spoke to the reception staff they were very polite and helpful. Our first floor appartment (Ses Cases D'or) was clean and of a reasonable size (I had read on previous reviews that the rooms were very small and so was a little concerned about this). We had a huge balcony which was lovely for sunbathing privately.

Our appartment was spotless and every other day a lovely spanish cleaning lady mopped the floors, cleaned the bathroom and replaced the towells. I am suprised to read the reviews about the cleanliness as this was not our experience at all (lovely bathroom too).

We were very close to the pool which was the quieter of the three pools, we used this one less as the children enjoyed the busier pools but if you wanted a quieter area with more available sunbeds then this pool is ideal. We were unable to get a sunbed until later in the day (2pm onwards) as some of the other guests felt it acceptable to reserve 6-8 sunbeds for thier own use, taking up a sunbed for very young children. I think this is par for the course though and we just saw the funny side (if you want to get up at 7.30am to place a chair where you want to have your sunbed and sit and wait an hour for them to be unchained, then go for it!)

My children didn't do any of the daytime activities but lots of other kids seemed to enjoy the childrens club. The evening entertainment was fine, shows every night some better than others but all offering some entertainment (they don't start until 10.15 though so it can get a bit late if you have youngsters). The setting for the nightime shows is pleasant but gets very busy and again we struggled to get seats after 9pm as they were all taken.

We ate out every night in the Cala Egos resort. The food was fine, nothing spectacular but the location was great with lots to do for he kids while we relaxed with a drink. I think we missed some of the better restaurants as the kids prefered the ones closer to the kiddy rides. Also it was nice to be so close to the resort so that popping out to the shops took no time at all.

Overall, a very enjoyable holiday and the complex offered us everything we wanted.

I booked this accomdation based on the reviews and was not disappointed, the good reviews far outway the bad ones (you can't please everyone can you? and I am quite picky!).

THE APARTMENTS ARE VERY CLEAN AND WELL EQUIPPED. STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. PLENTY TO DO - ENTERTAINMENT FOR ALL AGES.



CALA EGOS QUITE SMALL BUT PLENTY OF BARS/RESTAURANTS TO CHOOSE FROM.



CALA D'OR 30 MINS WALK AWAY (AROUND THE HARBOUR). TAXI COSTS ABOUT 5 EURO OR SMALL TRAIN 3.50 EURO.

Hubby and myself have just returned from a 4 day break staying @ Club Martha's in Cala Egos (Cala d' Or). It's the first time we have booked a holiday over the 'Net' so we were a bit nervous as what to expect but thankfully we had no problems @ all!

I think it's an ideal hotel for any age group, brilliant for families and couples.

The apartment was spacious and clean, staff was pleasant & friendly. We cannot comment on the food as we booked S/C so that we could try the local restaurants. The evening entertainment (Even the Reps & staff show) was very professional but we only caught the last 30mins each night of our stay and wished that we had gone back to the Hotel sooner.

We visited "Tony's restaurant", "Aries bar restaurant" & "Restaurant Bombay" The pub haunts are as follows; "Yates","Bogarts", "Daniel's bar" & not forgetting "Rumours" the only pub with a carpet!

During the day there was two beaches to choose from or you could walk to the Marina & spot what celebrity had moored there, Better still you could catch the land train ( 3.50 Euro) into Cal D 'Or then (Like us last minute decision) embark onto the starfish glass bottom boat ( 20 Euro) for a few hours then return or drop you off close to your destination...Ideal place for a short break!

I booked this holiday at the last moment by using the internet for the very first time to book a holiday, and i can say it was a good desision to make. We enjoyed the holiday very much, the complex was very clean and kept to a very high standard. The staff was always polite and helpfull, but best of all was the entertainment team, how hard they worked. At times the entertainment was a bit 'butlins', but it made us laugh out loud, so that cant be bad can it. The best night was ' A night at the movies' it was very proffessionaly put together, we both enjoyed it very much. A word of warning if you are going to use the 'taxi' transfer system be prepared to wait for long periods of time, and also the journey can take up to two hours or more ( someone on our coach was on it for three hours) be warned!

Overall i would recomend this holiday for anyone with or without children, and we will certainly be going back.

Well what can I say! Just returned from my 9th (yes that's 9th) time at Club Marthas! I was in for a surprise when I arrived to find that the whole reception area had been renovated, and it looks amazing!! Also the area around the pool has been changed, a nice wooden look to it which looks really good.



There was also a life guard for the first time, which I thought was a really good idea! The pools were lovely and warm, well they were cold when you got in, but apart from that it was lovely and warm!



The weather, despite the time of year, was fantastic, not too hot just nice so you can get in the sun and top up that tan. We only had one bad day where there was a thunderstorm in the night, thank god we wasn't in Palma that night as it was really bad, and it rained in the morning but by the afternoon it was back to being hot!



As for the entertainment, its faultless, good fun for all ages! Volleyball in the morning (played everyday and never won though!) and various different things in the afternoon! Many thanks to John, Rowin, Mike, and all the other entertainers for making our stay a good time!



The shows at night were, of course, top quality! Grease was fantastic, Mike even sung one of the songs and did it really well! Disappointed on the last night, Spanish ballet - not my cup of tea, we was expecting another brilliant show by the entertainment team but turns out it was this Spanish thing. Nevertheless we found entertainment as we ended up in Sparkles - a nice little cocktail bar!



The rooms, whilst a bit dated, were adequate and we found, as we had been there so many times, the TV, kettle and microwave were all included for free and we even got a bottle of bubbly!! But do not be put off by bad reviews for the rooms if you plan to stay next year you shan't be disappointed as they plan to completely renovate all the rooms this winter!! As for cleanliness, no problems, maids really polite and always smiling!



The staff at the bars are always really nice, Marioano especially as he has been there several years and we know him quite well! The food at the bars is nice, but I would recommend eating around the corner!



We even found a new restaurant to eat in! We had never been in there before and found that it is fantastic. We decided to eat in there and arrived to an empty bar, we thought "oh dear must be bad" but found that it was the complete opposite! The food was amazing and come out at a really good price, I recommend the grilled chicken and the hot chocolate cake for dessert!!



The shops were of course great, plenty of shops for souvenirs just around the corner! A bit disappointed to find that rumours is no longer open during the day! But we just went at night instead!!



The night club opens at 12, however the entertainment usually finishes at 11:30 and by the time it opens you are usually exhausted and just want sleep, so we never really went in there!

I recommend a little place called "The Corner" if you want a good sangria for a good price, my auntie described it as the best sangria she has tasted!! Although I wouldn't know as I personally don't like sangria.



Well I look forward to returning for my 10th time next year!

This was my partners first holiday abroad, so we chose a destination with not too long a flight.



Searching the internet we found Club Marthas. We read a few of the reviews and can only say that the majority were correct. We arrived at Palma airport at about 9:15am. A rep was readily available to show us to our coach for transfer.



When we arrived at Marthas I could not believe how good it looked from the outside, all glass, and marble frontage. The reception area was very clean and tidy. We were told that our room would not be available until about 2pm and we were given a key to the "suitcase" room so that we could leave our luggage and explore a bit.



This we took advantage of and went through to the bar/dining area and had a very welcome drink and food. The room we were given was clean and "did what it says on the tin".



We booked self catering so did not expect any bells and whistles. We slept, ate, and used the room just as we would at home. Cleaning was adequate and the towels were even changed on the day before we left. The resort of Cala Egos is compact and functional. You want shops? It has them. Bars and restaurants? It has those too. If you want breakfast, dinner or tea the choice is varied and plentiful. There are pretty little bays dotted all around the resort and the walk from Cala Egos to Cala D'Or took about 20 minutes at a leisurely pace.



The marina is pretty with some expensive "boys toys" dotted around. I can recommend the Jolly Roger for their hospitality and coffee and muffins. The week that we were there went all too quickly and it was on to the coach for return transfer. Again, the rep was there to see to us, and can only heap praise upon her for her tact and restraint in dealing with two petty and childish "women".



All in all a good 1st holiday for my partner and we are looking forward to visiting again next year.

Having read the reviews had doubts as to whether this place was going to be like pontins!!



However it was busy but did expect that in July but you could always get a sun lounger, and the choice of pools good, some very busy with a lot of children, my 14yr and 15 yr enjoyed it at the top pool. We got a taxi into Cala D’or every night as it has a nice family atmosphere, and plenty of choice to eat, and shop.



This is our 2nd visit to Cala dor and last time stayed in Cala dor, which was great.



Already booked an apartment overlooking ocean for next year from the internet.



I would say this is good 3 star not 4. Reps good and felt safe within the area.

Have just returned from Club Martha’s which we went to apprehensively after reading some bad reviews.



Our room was clean, sheets and towels changed mon wed Fri., had to hire hairdryer, kettle, toaster and safe key.



Agree with other reviewers about sunbeds, everyone is crammed in around pools with only an inch in-between beds. There were complaints about the sunbeds being saved so early in the morning which resulted in them being chained up every night, and not being unlocked until 9am each morning, it did make it a bit fairer but it was a bit of a free for all!



Other holidaymakers were mainly Dutch, much friendlier than Germans! The entertainment team were fantastic and worked incredibly hard especially Mike, Bianca and Sam.



The food was okay, but restaurant was a bit like a debenhams cafeteria! and it would have been better to have a waiter/drink service otherwise you spent the first 10 minutes at the bar getting drinks for everyone.



We did have to stay an extra 6 nights due to one of our party getting an ear infection (from the pool) but the hotel staff and our rep done all they could to help us, we didn’t encounter any miserable staff at all!



Probably wouldn’t go back mainly because it was a bit "full on" for me, although my children cried themselves to sleep on our last evening because they didn’t want to come home and would love to go back next year!

Just returned from another great holiday at Club Marthas with my wife and 2 kids(8&5).



This was our third visit in a year and again were not disappointed. We got the room we requested and felt very at home straight away.



There were some improvements to the hotel since we were there in Oct 06 which gave it a bit of a lift.



The entertainment staff were again EXCELLENT!! (sam, femke, floor, rick, jeff, ronin, mike etc..) and do their best to get you involved (without mothering ) in activities. If you play volleyball though ,just beware or Ricks dodgy scoring!!!



Our two kids had a great time again and were disappointed when we had to come home. They played all the sports available to them and had a great time in the spotless pools.



The rooms may need a bit of a revamp and the beds are a little tired but i am sure the popularity of this hotel will finance these improvements in the future.



Club Marthas in my mind has got a lot to offer for family's and this was backed up by talking to people around the pool, some of which were on their 5th visit!!



If you want a quick getaway which is not going to break the bank then i would recommend this place to anyone!!
