Dan Tel Aviv Hotel

I am a returning guest since 1992 and at least 5 - 6 times a year. It is my favoured hotel as I really feel at home in the Dan Tel Aviv. It is an outstanding hotel with an outstanding staff, which treats the guests in a real nice way. I can only recommend the hotel to travellers to Tel Aviv Jossi Hess

The location of the hotel is perfect! just across the beach. the service was amazing, and the staff waas very professional. they helped us as much as we needed, and they had fluent knowledge of the language, so we felt right at home. the rooms were very clean, and when we asked for suppliments the staff provided us with our needs in a matter of minutes. we really recomend this hotel in every aspect. it is really worth every penny and it made our trip and stay at Tel-Aviv a very good expirience.

My family returned from a three night stay at the Dan Tel Aviv. Unlike other reviews we had a great time there. We needed an extra bed for my teen age daughter and were upgraded to a two room suite without asking. Other hotels on the Tel Aviv strip only would rent two rooms (at high prices). I have stayed at many 5 star luxury hotels and this is certainly not one of them. I really like the Dan King David so I assumed, this being 5 star also, that it would be as good, especially since it is also expensive. It is not a bad hotel but it is nothing special. We stayed in the Dan Hotel TA for 5 nights. The experience was really bad enough to say I will never stay in the hotel again. A few days earlier we had stayed in the Dan Boutiquie Hotel in Jerusalem, which we highly recommend in comparison to the Dan Tel Aviv. Having asked around, I selected the David Intercontinental as the best hotel in Tel Aviv, with this as runner up. As the David was full, I decided on the Dan Tel Aviv over the other options of the Hilton and the Sheraton because of the contemporary renovated rooms, which I liked the look of. The staff at this hotel are nice and helpful. However, the hotel is not in the market niche it claims for itself: it is a perfectly adequate 4-5 star hotel of a slightly old fashioned and typically under-invested type but it is not in 5 star de luxe ranking EXCEPT for staff helpfulness. I've stayed at two hotels in Tel Aviv, the Dan and the King David. I must say the King David was FAR superior in every way to the Dan. On the bright side (since I like to think positive), the view from the rooms was amazing, it's right over the water and a beautiful ocean breeze comes into the room when you open the door to the balcony... heavenly in summer. Stayed here March 17-22 as part of a business trip. I found this to be a very good hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, with no outside noise. The staff were friendly and very helpful. All tours can be booked at reception. There are 2 pools, one indoor and one outdoor, on the second floor. Used these pools once. Th hotel is excellent, I have stayed there before and I was not disappointed. the rooms were very expensive but worth it, what I cannot understand is why there was a $30 supplement because of the low dollar, this is not the USA but Israel. The food was outstanding, they have a club which offers very good deals and allows you to use your accumulated points in the restaurants which are of very high standard., .
