Zazen Boutique Resort & Spa

Our stay at Zazen Boutique was completely amazing. The staff treated us so well and looked after our every need. The food at zazen was the best on the island and we could not have asked for anything better. Zazen is such a peaceful place and it was a pleasure to be staying ther and we did not want to come home. Zazen is simply the place to stay if you are looking for a cozy resort with excellent service and tasty decorated rooms. The staff is friendly and the service is quick and efficient. The rooms are very stylish and comfortably decorated. And the restaurant was pretty much one of the best I have ever eaten in. It is perfect if you are looking for a cozy and private place to stay with your partner!!!

Our staying at Zazen was just marvellous..probably the nicest resorts that i ever stayed at.If you want a relaxing vacation-This is the place to be.Spacious and well decorated room with a beautiful bathroom..really loved the atmosphere.The owners and staff pay real attention to detail and really focus on helping you have a great time..The restaurant food is amazing(thx again chef Wally for my birthday cake)..Highly recommend!

We spent our honeymoon at Zazen in May, having looked at many different resorts in Samui before booking. It turns out we definitely picked the right one! Having seen lots of the other places we considered, none looked quite as beautiful or peaceful as Zazen. We stayed at the Zazen for 7 nights in February. Overall this is a great hotel, if you are after a nice peaceful relaxed break, if you want plenty of action then look elsewhere. The rooms are tasteful, staff friendly, sun loungers on the beach are really comfy. Breakfast is good but the pool is on the small side. I only had one minor complaint, this was about the beach Zazen is based on rather than the hotel itself. The sand on the beach wasn't the best to walk on. Stay here if you want a relaxed break... enjoy

We booked with my new husband this resort a couple of weks before going to Kho Sami and we ere charmed by the website, expecting a good quality resort, with excellent service. And we were quite dispointed. The resort is not really a boutique hotel, the common areas are over crowded all the time, and the service is very slow and NOT friendly at all. Stayed at Zazen for 6 nights a year or two ago. We originally booked a garden room with the 'outdoor' bathroom which was nice enough, but upgraded to a beachfront bungalow which was worth every extra cent (if actually isn't that much!). Thoughtful details like a bed raised so you can see the ocean when you're lying down and the two hammocks just outside for lounging in. We stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of September as part of a longer trip. This is a lovely, small and quiet hotel in a good location. Very stylish and great value for money. It's perfect for couples but perhaps too quiet for families. We booked through an agency and got a great rate. We found this hotel to be more than a third cheaper than another similarly graded hotel we stayed at on the same trip - but the quality and service was just as good. Just back from a lovely 2 weeks stay at Zazen. We will recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to go to Samui. Bohput beach is the right place if you like an easy going and quiet stay, but in the same time just 15 minutes from busy Chaweng. We stayed in room 3 a beach bungalow, which might be smaller than the garden bungalows but the view was great and alsways something happening in front of your house. I stayed in Zazen with my girlfriend for six nights early December 2005.Since it was my first time in Thailand and none of my friends ever been there i just decided to roll the dice!!!Well i guess i had a double 6!!!Lets start with the negatives.Although we had arrange for airport transfer, the hotel van did not appear in the airport.I gave them a call and the mini van arived within 15 minutes.Along with their apologies they offered me the ride on our departure free!!!Check in was fast.No worries etc.Although our booking was for a garden... more
