Villa Renos

The Travel Agent was correct, it had the most magificent view, sunset, sunset. The room was perfect and we had a hot tub on our balcony. It was just like it looks on the webpage, only the scenery was 100 times better as we were there....... The rooms are clean and spacious. The family that own the Villas (thank you Petros and Bill) are wonderful and nothing is a bother. The home cooked breakfast is to die for (especially the honey balls). We have returned for the 4th time to this hotel. It runs by the family and you feel like home. Astonishing vew of the harbor from every room. Most cozy terrase for breakfast and second for relaxsation. Petros,Zina and they son Vassilis sspeak fluent English and try to accomodate everyone. Zina even perform wonderfull wedding on terrase during Sunset which is breathtaking. One small"setback".Customers who stay there rebook for the nxt year in advance . We have been to Santorini 4 times and stayed at the Villa Renos Hotel the last 2 times. It has truely been the best time we have had in all of out overseas hoildays.The hotel is run by the Matekas family and they are just the most hospitable people you could ever wish to meet. Right after I booked a room at Villa Renos, I emailed them to find out if I could arrange something nice for my wife since this was our first stop on our Greek Island Honeymoon. Getting to Villa Renos: Vassilis was very quick with suggestions and always promptly replied to any clarifications I had. After many prompt email exchanges, he arranged for flowers and a bottle of chilled white wine in the room, all waiting for us when we arrived. Comfortable and fully equipped rooms, fantastic home made breakfast (everything comes from the owners' farm) and the best view of Santorini. But what makes Villa Renos unique is the family that runs it. They will make you feel at home and help you in everything you may need. We stay at the Villa-Renos every summer for a short "honey-moon-without-the-kids" and enjoy the magical sunset of Santorini from the veranda of this lovely "boutique" hotel with a glass of cool white Santorini wine! We stayed at villa renos late august after getting switched from porta fira due to overbooking. i can't even begin to describe how much better villa renos is. although their website is not as up to date (they said they are working on it) the hotel and the service is well worth the price. it's a very clean place, recently renovated from top to bottom, with nice marble top bathrooms. the hotel is in the center of fira, right on the caldera. the view from our balcony was breathtaking. everything you would imagine! the balconies were super... more

Villa Renos is the place to stay if you go to Santorini. It is in the Fira side of the island, at a great location, and the view from any balcony is amazing. The tradional Greek breakfast is really good. The owners of the place will go out of there way to try to make your stay the best experience. The big 5 star hotels up the street will not give you the views of Villa Renos.
