T Hotel

My partner and I spent 5 nights at the T Hotel at the beginning of September '07. It is a stylish, modern 'design' hotel, which may not appeal to everyone's taste, but which I found desirable. The taxi from Cagliari airport cost approximately 20 Euros, including 2 suitcases (on both arrival & return, so consistent price). This is an excellent hotel. It is modern, situated slightly out of town but has great rooms, super service, a spa, a stylish lobby, lavish breakfast and we paid less than 100 euros for a double room. On the downside, we asked for a cab but reception couldn't get one and recommended we flag one on the street on the way into town - there were none - and the same experience on the way home and sadly no buses at 1am in the morning! This hotel is fabulous - I was travelling n my own and had got relatively cheap flight from ryanair to alghero and travelled to Cagliari - had emailed the hotel to say I would be arriving late so to hold the room which they did without fuss- it was €99 per night for a twin room which i thought was very good value for money given it was the height of high season - hotel is very modern - very good sized rooms - spotlessly clean, air con perfect (and vital), hotel staff had good english, restaurant food was v good and not pricey at all -... more

We stayed for only 3 nights, but enjoyed this hotel. This hotel is modern, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We booked a standard double room and were pleasantly surprised to find a spacious, contemporary, and "high-tech" room. Loved the speakers in the washroom! We were placed in the new tower, which gave us views of the city. I would suggest a rental car if you're staying here, especially if you want to enjoy the beaches or want to eat outside the hotel. T-Hotel is located on Via dei Guidicati, which is a little out from the center of Cagliari but bus 'M' stops around the corner and comes approximately every 15 minutes taking you to Via Roma. There is a tobacconist along the way to buy tickets from or a little stand near the bus stop. The first thing you notice is the tall glass tower, which was useful for guiding myself to the hotel when I first arrived. My husband and I stayed at T-Hotel for three nigths. The room was big enough with all the expected facilities and service. The decor (of the room and through out the Hotel) was quite nice. The breakfast was excelent. However this Hotel should make some improvements regarding the confort, once the beds were extremely hard and therefore unconfortable and the shower had no water pressure, and it was very dificult to regulate the water temperature. Stayed at T Hotel for 2 nights in May. There is nothing quite like it in Sardinia. It has the feel of The Sanderson/St Martin Lane Hotel in London (modern, boutique Hotel with a touch of glamour). My deluxe room was well appointed and the bathroom was spoteless and quite luxurious. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The restaurant menu selection was adequate, the bar was well stocked with mouth-watering bar snacks. A brand new hotel in a reasonably central location in Caglairi. The foyer is stunning with a large water feature surrounding the well stocked bar. The swimming pool is great and the sauna is very comfortable, everything in the health suite is spotless. Meals were small in portion size but cooked to perfection. Rooms were large and richly decorated with modern pastel colours and mosaic tiling. Only downside is that there is no wifi access in the rooms, only in the foyer, not so great for a business hotel. Would definately go back.

it is new, it is spectacular and it is 'different' from any other Cagliari hotel. Easy to find from the airport with free and ample parking opposite the entrance. I asked for flowers and bubbly on arrival and both items were in the room ready for my partners birthday surprise.... the room was modern with a good size bed, but...the shower leaked and the aircon would not turn off and was noisy. Just returned from a weekend trip to Cagliari, Saturday Stuttgart-Cagliari-Stuttgart Sunday with newly merged airline Tuifly.com. I asked by mail about the taxi fare from the airport, the answer was between 15.-- and 20.-- Euros, we payed 18.-- and 20.-- Euros, no problems with the drivers, ok so far.
