Seaside Beach Hotel

Bedfordshire, England. We have recently returned from our fourth stay in Kamari on beautiful Santorini Island, and our second stay at the Seaside Beach Hotel, this time for my Brother's wedding. We discovered the Seaside Beach Hotel - and their Restaurant, on our first visit' to Santorini, and although we tried most of the Taverna's and Restaurants along the sea front and beyond during our stay, we soon decided to look no further. We are stayed in this hotel in Sept and we requested the seaview room, although the room size compare the apartment little bit small(big different for the bathroom size) but we got the seaview, fair enough. The hotel very clean and bright, the owner's family very friendly. The restaurant food good too. Only 10 mins from the airport very handy. We stayed for a week.It really is lovely and clean.Our cleaner was just brilliant,every morning she would come in make bed,wash dishes,sweep etc. Now the problem we had was the pool.it really is too small and as the beach aint great for swimming much depends on a fair size pool.We also found every morning all the beds had towels on them and nobody to be seen? The food is lovely,costly but is so all over santorini. The owners are nice hard working people.

I stayed in the Seaside Apartments in August in the new section built out the back! Our room was lovely, always spotless and a very good size. The lay out is lovely and very private. The sun loungers are the good quality wooden ones and the pool though small serves its purpose well. George and his family who run the place are brilliant, always available if you had any query's and they have a wonderful restaurant out front. The fresh juices are fab! We were allocated to the new s/c apartments which have recently been built onto the rear of the hotel, together with a small swimming pool.There are 13 apartments all told with 7 on the first floor and 6 on ground floor, the ones on the first floor are Duplex with the bedroom up a very steep flight of wooden stairs, anyone with a disability or elderly would find this hard to negotiate. Stayed here early august on this year and couldn't find anything wrong with it! The restaurant was one of the best in santorini (try the drunken chicken!) with cocktails and milkshakes to go along with the beautiful food! Location couldn't be better, only the restaurant seperated the apartments from the beach. Because the apartments are at the back of the complex, there was no noise from the restaurants or bars.The rooms were cleaned daily with plenty of fresh towels etc. The apartments were simple but had everything you would need. We stayed at the Seaside Hotel for two weeks and were absolutely thrilled with the place. Our studio apartment was spotless. The location of the hotel was a perfect base on the island. We pretty much ate in the hotel for lunch and dinner for both weeks and the food was excellent, great value for money and brilliant service. The brothers Manus and Nicos who run the hotel were extremely friendly and really couldn't do enough for us. They really made our holiday in Santorini one to remember. Stayed for a week at the Seaside Beach Hotel's newly renovated studios. The studios are at the back of the original hotel. We had a big groundfloor double bed studio,which had a wonderful modern bathroom with bath/shower deal. The shower pressure was absolutely amazing!! Most importantly it was clean, clean, clean. Gets serviced every other day and the owners are very helpful and friendly. The pool is virtually two meters away from your doorstep, and includes a jacuzzi at the shallow end. We stay in Apartments at Seaside Beach Hotel which is are new and are excellent and the staff are very helpful and will do anything to make our stay welcome I would recommend it Restaurant is owned by Seaside Beach Hotel the food is great the price is great and so friendly I went by XL AIRlINE (Ireland)

The Seaside Beach Hotel, Kamari was a great find and an excellent location for discovering Santorini. A beautiful beachside location, family run hotel which is in the process of extensions - including a pool- within easy access to all island site seeing. A very relaxing environment and just below the magnificent Ancient Thira which is well worth the visit. Bus transport for whole island easy, convenient and cheap.
