Ruzzini Palace Hotel

We stayed here for two nights. We had two deluxe rooms in the hotel and were very pleased with the quality of accommodation. The beds were very comfortable and the work areas were well planned (even though we did not need them). Reception staff were very attentive and were concerned that we enjoy our stay. Having decided upon Venice as our honeymoon destination we searched high and low for a hotel that had a luxurious look to it and came across the Ruzzini Palace. We were not dissapointed! The grand hall ways and historical features are what really make this hotel stand out above the rest. We stayed in a Junior suite and found this had adequate space with gorgeous views. We stayed at the Ruzzini Palace for 3 nights in July. We couldn't find many reviews on the place before we booked it, but luckily it turned out to be a good choice. It was ideally located mid way between the Rialto Bridge and Saint Marks Square in a quiet square. The directions were a bit sketchy although we found our way there eventually! On arriving we were greeted by friendly and helpful reception staff and shown to our room which was the lowest priced room but was still a lot better than some rooms we've had over the years.... more

My sister and I stayed at Ruzzini palace for 4 days in June and were overwhelmed by the quality, service and beautiful rooms. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly (see Paul at the bar..) and the rooms were far beyond our expectations so spacious, comfortable and elegantly appointed. If you are going to Venice, pack light and stay at Ruzzini Palace.

A real palace with an excellent location and helpful staff.We stay at the hotel in july in room 304 (the deluxe room )with our ten years old daughter and all of us liked the hotel and Venice.

Venice was our first stop in a nine day trip to Italy. We arrived at the airport and took a water taxi directly to the back door of the hotel. Checked our bags, changed our clothes and took off to explore the city. Great check in, accomodating staff. Just got back from a three night stay at the Ruzzini Palace. This trip was my first to Italy and Europe and I was expecting the worst from hotels. I was very pleasantly surprised with the Ruzzini palace. We took at water taxi for the 4 of us from the airport. I would definately suggest this because it drops you off right at the back door of the hotel. This is a great place to stay. The rooms are recently renovated, great quality fittings, cleanliness etc and lovely ceilings with the original rafters of the palace. Five to ten minute walk to Rialto Bridge. Service was excellent. According to our gondalier man Cassanova once frequented the palace....a lovely experience of Venice. Andrew

Just returned from a four night stay at the Ruzzini Palace. I was reluctant to stay here as there are so few reviews available. We booked two rooms, a standard and a deluxe room. Our children stayed in the standard and my wife and I had the deluxe. The location is excellent. Short walk to everything. The hotel is brand new, opened the end of March so everthing is new inside. Just returned from a three nights stay at this hotel. it is in a great location, quiet but only a short distance from both St Mark's Square and The Rialto Bridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast good and our room was lovely very modern and very clean. The only downside to room was the bath it looked very stylish but not very practical.
