Riad Lotus O Marine

I travel once or twice a year to Essaouira,I've stayed in most of the hotels and for once I had a great stay. I'm alergic, and miraculously I didn't sneeze once. It's very clean, and quiet. The funiture is stylish, it give a unique feeling to the place. The staff is very friendly and truely devoted to make you spend a great time with them. The restaurand located on the first floor has a good cook, and a nice DJ spining lounge music. So if your looking to have a magic time with your loved one, that's where you need to be.

We loved our stay in this cosy small hotel. Nice and clean rooms, excellent food. The manager and his staff were very friendly and helpfull. The lounge downstairs has a good chef. We highly recommend this address. .

After many years of wanting to visit Morocco, we were finally able to find the time and make the trip. And what a trip it was! I was in Marrakech for 5 days where I stayed at the riads Ambre Lotus . The service was excellent and the staff is very heIpfull I booked from the riad 3 days to ESSAOUIRA which is a very quite city by the ocean in MOROCCO. the riads O MARINE which belong to the LOTUS GROUP was just what i was looking for excellent restaurant in the first floor very classy rooms and a beautifull terrase where you get a perfect breakfast in the morning. the weather was nice except the wind but very sunny. This hotel looks beautiful at first glance but in reality is starting to get a bit tired. We were disappointed as we have been to Essaouira fairly frequently and had taken a tour of the hotel to check it out. If you want traditional Moroccan you are going to the wrong hotel. They have tried for a luxurious and sophisticated 5 star look that quite frankly you can have just about any where in the world. O Marine is a fresh gem in the heart of Essaouira. I particularly loved the roof top terrace where we had our breakfast and morning coffee, before heading off to explore the town. Perfect start to any day. The restaurant was a nice surprise as well, with a very charming feel, and great food. Also, I loved the decor throughout the riad. Great place for a getaway.

I also had a very poor stay at this Riad. The music coming from the usually empty nightclub DIRECTLY UNDERNEATH is absurd. The food in the restaurant was acutally pretty good as noted in another review. The staff quite frankly didn't seem to care whether we were happy or not. Would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

I have stayed at Riad Lotus and was looking forward to my stay in the Omni and in no way did it disappoint. The staff were on point and friendly without being too in your face. The decor was fantastic and the room was perfect for my little romantic get away with my boyfriend. Anyone wanting to explore Marrakech must definately stay at the Omin.

We stayed at O Marine after staying in the Riad Ambre and before the Riad Perle. The ambience and decor were good as in the other Lotus Riads. The service was definitely down a notch from the Marrakech riads, but we didn't find it rude. The restaurant was really good fun and the food was a nice break from couscous. We stayed on the top floor and found it to be the most quiet of the riads. Value for money is questionable, but I guess one has to pay for the decor and the ambience. At first glance the hotel seemed hip and quaint. But don't let it fool you- The rooms are small and not terribly well lit, the linens were dirty upon our arrival (there was blood on the sheets from the previous guest) and left unchanged even though it was mentioned to the front desk. The bath room was also small and because the shower handle did not have a hook to be hung on during showers we were left trying wash with one hand and hold the shower handle with the other in a tiny cramped bathtub.
