We booked this property based solely on the positive reviews for this Hotel read in T.A. We were not dissappointed during our seven nights stay... Although this was our first trip to Paris, and we could not compare to anything else, the level and quality of attention to detail made this a great choice. We stayed at the Plaza Paris Vendome at the end of April. The weather in Paris was beautiful and the hotel was perfect in every way. We are Americans living in Belgium and took the train to Paris for the weekend. We then purchased a 2 day Metro pass which ended up being a wonderful investment. Went away with my girlfriend for a romantic getaway. Could not have chosen a better hotel. Great service from all the staff and fantastic rooms. Best bit is the swimming pool complex in the basement. Feels like your own private oasis. Would definitely stay again.

we had booked a superior room but upon arrival we were told they had no rooms available ! we had already paid via expedia. They put us in a taxi to the warwick hotel which was on a noisy street and was no where near the quality of the plaza vendome. I was told that we would be upgraded to a junior suite but upon our (inconvenient) return we were only given an executive room which was small and I suppose very similar to the room we booked. Everything the reviewer before me said is correct (especially the part about needing to point out on a map where the hotel is!). This is a lovely "big little" hotel- it has all the benefits of a larger chain hotel while still feeling very small and intimate. Lobby always smelled like orchids. First off let me say that I am a very very picky hotel person.... Just got back from 1 week at the Plaza Vendome. I stayed there based on the ratings this hotel has received on this site. I have to agree – you cannot go wrong with this hotel. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Room was average size (but palatial by European standards) with a very large bathroom. We were married in Florence in October and spent several weeks making our way across Italy and France. We discovered Plaza Paris Vendome through TripAdvisor, hoping to find a gem in the heart of Paris. What a gem we found. Just returned from Paris and were thrilled to find this hotel after spending one night at another supposedly "charming" little hotel with rooms so small we couldn't move and decor that was literally falling off the walls. The PPVendome welcomed us with open arms and we loved the classy decor. The concierge led us to three restaurants we loved, and make note of the fact that Pinxo, the restaurant attached to the hotel, is wonderful, too. Now a Renaissance Property. Very modern in art-deco style. Room #1 had its own patio on to an inside courtyard with table, chairs, and umbrella. Very quiet room slightly small, but very well appointed. Breakfast was good, but not worth 26 euro per person. Staff was very courteous and willing to help. I'd stay there again.

I searched online for weeks before selecting this hotel for a trip with my wife. We stayed 3 nights and liked it so much that at the end of our trip north to Amsterdam, we had one night back in Paris before flying home and decided to stay there for that last night even though we had reservations elsewhere.
