Ramada Resort Khao Lak

The Ramada hotel is absolutely stunning, just as the pictures on the internet. The food was great, wow what a choice for breakfast. I can not say enough about the hotel and its friendly staff, they could not do enough. The pool and surrounding area is so relaxing and that's what we went for. Thank you to everyone at the hotel, hope to see you another year. Oh by the way if you want to "party" all the time - don't go to this hotel, you'd spoil it!

Ramada Khaolak Thailand We stayed 6 nights at this resort and wished it was a lot longer,the resort is smaller and more intimate than many others we have stayed. Service,staff and food quality were all excellent, we stayed in a seafront villa whilst expensive very good with direct beach access and uninterupted views, fantastic spa to relax in after a massage,with or without a cold beer. My husband and I stayed at the Ramada Khao Lak for 4 nights - March 25-29, 2008. WOW! WOW! WOW! We literally used about every facility and service there. Check in and Service - Fantastic, they seat you down on a couch and give you a cool fruit welcome drink and a floral scented wet towel. My daughter was married on the beach in front of the Ramada Resort, in one word "FABULOUS" The staff & management at the Ramada gave us a day that was beautiful in every way. Every detail was presented to a standard above our expectation. The service, food,& presentation all round during our stay was top class. We stayed in an Ocean Front Villa which was really ocean-front. There was nothing between the villa and the sea.(At some neighboring resorts, there were a lot of sunbeds just in front of their Beach Front Villas, so the guests had no privacy.) We just relaxed lying on the sunbeds on the balcony or sofa in the room all day. We highly recommend this villa even though it is not cheep. Absolute heaven. We had booked a deluxe ocean view room which was beautiful the rooms are very modern and spacious. The hotel had dressed the bed with swans and flowers spelling honeymoon in petals. Two minutes later there was a knock at the door and they had bought us a bottle of champagne.What a cracking start. Two days later they upgraded us to a beach front villa and wow wow wow. we loved the hotel, the rooms were great, however remember to ask for a king size bed or two doubles, don't assume. The massages by the pool were great although you have to order in advance. To the left of the h otel on the beach is a fantastic resaturant which we ate in every day. The prices were great and the food deliscious. The massages on the beach are also fantastic and very cheap. Having stayed in Khao Lak before the tsunami, we were apprehensive about returning and indeed much has changed in the town which is noticeably busier. We were, however, please to find the ramada was three kms north of the 'strip' on a quieter stretch of beach, though still well supported by the usual thai beach infrastructure of restaurants, bars, massages and dive centres. For five couples celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary we could not have found a more ideal setting. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms, the grounds and the beach in front were all just perfect. All members of staff were helpful and did everything to make our stay pleasant, always with big smiles. None of us wanted to leave and we look forward to our next holiday at the Ramada Khao Lak. Our two weeks at Ramada Resort Khao Lak were the best hotel stay we've ever had. The hotel is beautiful situated on the beautiful beach of Bang Niang, which is a very calm and beautiful beach. There's a beautiful pool are in the hotel's garden surrounded by palm trees and flowers. The room was big, of good design, with a nice terrace. Everything had that SPA feeling, calmness, beauty and relaxing. However what made the stay so splendid was the nice and gentle staff on the hotel.
