Great value, good location
from Heather31
It was 330am on 5 Dec when my boyfren had this crazy idea to take the first morning coach into KL from SGP. Hence, we googled and we called the PICCOLO directly to reserve the room. Unable to offer the prevailing rates offered by www.latestay.com, the night manager recomended that we take the Studio Executive Suite at RM145 nett, no breakfast, free internet access, newspaper, all day parking. The soft launch promo sounds reasonable and we made the reservation. Well, who needs hotel breakfast when there are cheap and good eateries round the...

Very Cool Hotel with Great Location
from gsumadibrata
Booked the hotel through its web site for the cheapest room (deluxe). As mentioned by others, there's no dedicated drop-off area, and my cab driver easily missed the side entrance. Checking in was a breeze, and somehow I've got a room upgrade. Porter and front desk were friendly. Noticed there's a major crack in the elevator on my way up to the room. Room was very nice, and I simply loved the design. The true gem is in the breakfast that came with the room. Good selection of light and very tasty items. Absolutely loved it. On the down side,...

loved this hotel..
from vmvpinay
I stayed here overnight with a friend. The location is perfect! At the back of Lot 10, walking distance to everything, Bukit Bintang walk, Train Station, you can even walk going to Petronas Tower! A lot of malls and restaurants.. certainly a perfect hot spot!!! The hotel itself is beyond my expectations, I stayed last December with my family at Federal Hotel also at Bukit Bintang, slightly expensive than Piccolo but the hotel is small, reception area is not welcoming, the room is average, but Piccolo is certainly 100% better!!!! Great...

Great hotel at a great location
from rain_2710
Piccolo Hotel was excellent, from the time i booked the hotel 3 months before to our check out. I had to contact the hotel to make queries in regards to the rooms and they responded to my email quickly. Staff were excellent and the rooms were also excellent. Yes you can smell smoke but its nothing a good AC and perfume cant fix. BEST FEATURE: the shower, I love the big shower heads because its like rainfall and the shower was always clean. The hotel location was fantastic.. couldnt ask for a better location along...

Great Design Hotel
from Guido_T
Just returned from Kuala Lumpur where I spent 1 night in the Piccolo hotel. The hotel location is just perfect, it is directly on the Bukit Bintang and is of walking distance to the shops and hawkers. The interior of this hotel is perfect, rooms have been recently refurbished and are very stylish. Service from staff is good and breakfast is offered a la carte. Try the Morino Kaze Spa on the second floor of this building: it is just Perfect! Great foot and back massages in a professional spa for little money. This spa also offers the "fish...

Piccolo indeed!!
from Jade7Sydney
I was off to a bad start I must say. The hotel reservation was made about two months prior to my visit to KL. It was confirmed again, the day prior to my arrival and to inform them of a late check-in. However, when I checked in, I was told that the reservation was cancelled. It took them half an hour and a few telephone calls to find a room. My complaint was met with much disinterest and lame apologies. I had requested a view of the street, but had to put up with a view of the carpark of the Shopping Centre next to it. This hotel seemed...

Frustrating Piccolo
from Lccy
I am so totally frustrated by the hotel that I had to write about it before I even check out. As the hotel is relatively new, my taxi driver didnt know where it is. When I finally managed to find the hotel, I couldnt locate the drive way and the taxi driver couldnt figure out where to drop me off. I finally arrived at the hotel and my taxi driver kindly informed me that I will be facing perpetual traffic jams. I had a straight face guest relation officer. He didnt smile or sympathise with me as I complained about my unfortunate...

A mixed bag

Stayed at Deluxe Premiere for 1 night stopover. Requested for high floor, non-smoking room. The hotel gave me a room on 8th floor (out of 12 floor which is high), and found a little glass ashtray by the table (non-smoking room?). Arrival No hassle and quick. My detailed has been stored in the computer and in less than 5 minutes I already in my room. Bellboy was chatty and said that my room was one of the best room in the hotel (izzit?). However, everyone can access hotel floor. No security card access thingy in the elevator....

Average
from Azriwantohelp
Stayed a night in the standard 2 bed. Check-in and out were a breeze but taken aback by the small dim elevators - one with a broken glass. Forget views unless you pay for the more expensive rooms. Liked the bed and pillows. Didn't like the location of the wash basin right next to coffee amneties. Unless you're careful with washing, it'll be a mess. No ironing amneties provided for such a premier hotel. Loved the design of the wardrobe though. Great location for shopping and moving around. Overall, average and could certainly do more to meet...

Brand new hotel

We saw Piccolo hotel on kl-hotels website when we search for a last minutes deal - althought we booked with parkroyal but w/o any paing yet - Their photos looks impressive and we decide to give it a try. Cancelation from Parkroyal was easy and we book Piccolo via kl-hotels with 10% deposit. Upon arrive to the hotel, my taxi from old railway station (We just got back from Penang with Nice coach) had a dumbfound look when I said Piccolo hotel, he had to rang up his taxi company 's operator to confirm about hotel location. The down side...
