Pattaya Discovery Beach Hotel

very good hotels, nice view from rooms though a slow service

my partner and myself are from the country in Australia and have paid mega dollars for five hotels but none compare to D-beach for the price could not fault at all gave us the best room 1209 we had booked for three nights but stayed for 11, the location was perfect, just out of the way but not to far from anything I found it to be quite central to all that we wanted. The staff were great the pool was beautiful and the night view from our balconey was very speccy.

This is my 4th time to Pattaya and having always stayed at the Montien I thought I would stay somewhere that costs half of the price. Paid about £35 a night, the hotel was clean, rooms were nice, tv ok and rooms had amazing comfy beds, The only few quibbles are security coming in the back way is a bit slack, the pool and sunbeds were dirty. I didnt see them get cleaned in the 10 days i was there! on 2 occasions I had to ask for a cloth to clean them before I sat down. Breakfast was ok, usual of thai food, cereals, eggs, toast... more

I booked and stayed this hotel for short 2 nights, and it was my first time to this hotel in Pattaya, very nice and middle of everything in Pattaya. The room is clean and well proper prepared more than I expected from the price I paid. The room is large and high ceiling giving the feeling it was a bigger room and deluxe. The terrace looks over the beach and view to Pattaya little hill side. The breakfast is not that "wow", but quite okay for 3 stars hotel.

We stayed in the D-Beach hotel for a night and it was a good experience. The room was large and so was the toilet and we had a veranda from where you could just spot the sea through the trees blocking the view. The bell boy attending to us was really nice and cheerful and so was the other staff. The Indian restaurant right near the entry of the hotel is a must visit for delicious Indian food although its a little over priced. I stay on a superior room, in fact this hotel offer only superior rooms or suite. Really great view of the bay, i stay on 10th floor with view of the bay from harbour to the soi 6/1. Large room with everything, only TV was a little bit small. Perfect bathroom with nice shower and large bath. Good food on coffe shop, beautiful pool, one of the best choice in beach road.

Its a 5mins walk to the beach, across the road. Walking street is 10 mins drive away. Rooms are big with a balcony! Bathroom is clean. Sea view from our room! Breakfast is okay, but still has room for improvement. Ask for a corner room, my friends stayed in tt room and it's much bigger and nicer than ours!! :)

My husband and I just came back from Pattaya. WE stayed at the Discovery Beach hotel ( or more popularly known as the D-Beach hotel). It was a wonderful stay. The hotel is fantastic and is located right on the Pattaya beach. The rooms were wonderful with just the most amazing view of the beach at night. Would definitely like to go back there.

I booked this hotel for one night via wotif.com to see what it was like before I extended my stay. Wow, considering they have 5 or more check in staff, what a drama to do it. The manager had to come out. Once finally checked in I had a great view over Pattaya beach from my balconny. The room was spacious and had all the mod cons. It looked clean but on closer inspection walls had never been wiped i.e. pencil marks from where handles should be located from when it was first built, and other unknown marks.
