Novotel Bali Nusa Dua Hotel & Residences

We stayed for two weeks in this beautiful resort and were very sad when our holiday had finished. The resort was still quite new, with minor constructions still underway, but looking down on the grounds from our lovely room the huge "lakeshaped" pool and gardens that surrounded the restaurant, bar, gym and kid's club were spectacular. My wife and our three young children (3, 6 and 8) stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. I have been going to Bali since an 8 year old in 1972 and am very familiar with the island and speak Bahasa Indonesia. We arrived early so staff took us all to the pool bar for a complimentry drink and refreshing towels. When we were shown to our room, we couldn,t believe our eyes! A three bedroom appartment, all with king size beds and their own bathroom. We had our own private splash pool and a cushioned gazeebo in our own personal back yard. My second visit I found out that what I had praise previously is not really applicable anymore. It seemed they don't have standard services & most of all no management control. When I arrived late at night, the pillow are not there (we have 2 bedroom aptmt), no cushion pillows and they tell me that it was not suposed to be any in the sitting room (of course they don't know I have been there before & know that it was not true) & they had to put a sofa & garbage can inside. We spent 6 nights in this hotel at the end of our holiday in Bali. We had a 3 bed roomed apartment with a pool. This was fantastic with2 teenage children. The staff were very friendly. The main pool was out of this world and well staffed with life guards. I would stay here again.

I had been to the Novotel in Nusa Dua in January when it was in it's final stages of completion and had been looking forward to going back once it was open. What can i say, it was wonderful. Staff greet you by name after a couple of days and nothing is too much trouble for them. We had a 2bedroom apartment with plunge pool and my teenage sons loved the extra space of having a lounge and dining room and their own bathroom. The property comprises eight sets of twinned blocks, each either three or four storeys high, and with it's own elevator. In the middle of the site is the split-level lagoon pool, backed by the pool bar (also known as Blue Bar), the restaurant, kids club, spa and gallery. The airport pick-up is well worth organising in advance, the driver has a chilled fresh-smelling towel and cold bottle of water waiting for you! This is for the young families out there. In June this year we stayed for 11 nights at the Novatel Nusa Dua. Having stayed in Bali many times(over 15) in both Nusa Dua and on the Seminyak side this was our first trip with 2 young children. I am used to 4-5 stars so it was a challenge for us to come up with a holiday at this level without the $$$. Just got back from a great stay at the Novotel Nusa Dua. Not too many other guests which suited us. The pool was really nice. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment which had cooking facilities (if you need them). Would definitely recomment this hotel - get a great rate on accor website.

Just returned from Novotel Nusa Dua - fantastic hotel & had a wonderful stay there. The hotel is designed like a lake & the rooms are simply beautiful! Although parts of the hotel is still under construction, the rooms assigned are far away from the buildings/rooms still under construction. Great & well-trained service staff too & lots of security staff around, making you feel really safe. The wide array of TV channels also allow you to relax comfortably in your room or just laze around in the balcony watching the world go by as you enjoy... more
