Mill Houses Studios & Suites

I stayed 2 days in the hotel with my boyfriend. Just amazing! Clean rooms, nice service, warmhearted people. Beautiful vacano views and sunset! Best memory during the trip!

Exceptional value for this charming and stunningly located hotel on the caldera, with million dollar views. Walking distance to Fira, cable car, all restaurants. Nice breakfast served in the room or outside. Very helpful staff.

We had a lovely stay at the Mill Houses in Santorini. It was a fantastic location, just a short walk downhill to the main part of town. The hotel itself was immaculate, with an incredible view looking out over the water. The room was beautiful - earth red tiles, soft blue linens, calming cream walls. The Mill Houses provided everything that I had hoped the dream island of Santorini would have in store. Left the mill houses a few days ago, and miss it a lot. Was there 5 nights and could have stayed longer. Spent some time driving around and exploring the island, but could have just stayed at the hotel and enjoyed the view and surroundings. The studio room i had was simple and to me elegant. the housekeeping was pristine, simple breakfast excellent and brought to my room every morning. Our stay during the first few days of January provided us with the most breathtaking views we've ever seen. The 3 storied hotel - with twisting stairs, and artful but simply placed artifacts like grecian urns and a colorful old boat - forms part of the troglodytic landscape that needs to be explored from every angle, in 3 dimensions. We are from the US and my work took us to Athens, Greece the first week in December 2007, so my wife and I took the opportunity to fly over to Santorini before hand for a three night getaway Nov. 29 through Dec. 2. We were most concerned about the weather being too cold or rainy, but found it to be most delightful. The temperature was in the mid-60's but the sun made it feel more like 70. I highly recommend this place. The staff was very nice. They bring the breakfast to your room (complementary). I really enjoyed having breakfast on our patio every morning looking over the sea/volcano. Greek yogurt w/ honey is so yummy! :)

Overall this is a "no -frills" basic studio style apartment. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite which include a private jacuzzi at your front door (which was the size of a bathtub). Positives include: 5 min walk to Fira (where most of the restaurants, bars & shops are) and good location, friendly staff. Negatives include: conceirge is never there to help you so you are on the own (booking activities, wake up calls, carrying luggage up and down stairs), the maid doesnt clean the rooms thoroughly (ie the floors were really dirty), the hot water... more

We - my wife and I - had 9 days to spend before we had to go to Athens for a meeting. We spend 9 days at the Mill House in one of the Honeymoon suites. You have a wonderful small terrace with your own outdoor Jacuzzi, where you can look at these fantastic sundown’s. The rooms are big and OK but nothing special. It’s a pleasant walk to town – also very beautiful – nice restaurants are close by – but to be honest with such a wonderful place – buy a nice bottle of local wine, some cheese and olivine from the small shops nearby and... more
