Les Berges du Lac

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel on urgent business. I checked in without a reservation. The front desk was very courteous and professional. The hotel is 5 Star luxurious. The rooms and bathrooms are all first class. The only downside was the buffet. It was small with little variety. But that was probably due to the high vacancy of the hotel. The hotel was open some 8 months ago. The management needs to put more effort in advertising. Even the taxi driver had a hard time find the place. A very new hotel, with excellent rooms, flat screen TVs, bathrobes, lovely balconies (although mine was shared with next door) with large patio tables and chairs. Best thing is free fast internet in every room and wireless internet in the lobby areas. Worst thing is it's in an area of Tunis that is alcohol-free. Oh, it's very close to the airport, less than 10 minutes drive, but you won't hear the planes. Good for checking out at the last minute to catch that flight.
