Kuta Lagoon Resort & Pool Villa

I stayed at Kuta Lagoon Resort for 10 days in peak season, I had a pool side room that I shared with my friend. The room was decent, beds were comfy and bathroom was fine. The hotel itself and pool area are all lovely however the hotel is severely lacking in any atmosphere. I was surprised to find that although Bali was v busy I could have counted on my one hand how many guests i saw in the hotel on my stay. We have just stayed at the Kuta Lagoon for 14 days and loved it. The breakfast although simple was everything you could need. The staff were happy, caring and enjoyed having us there. The Pool Access rooms are fantastic remembering this is a 3 star resort and the only other pool access room we could find was at Nusa Dua and at ND prices. We will definitely go back as we found our haven where there are very few kids and no problems with lounges around the pool. The pool staff couldn't do enough for us.Thank you again KL Resort.

I booked 13 deluxe rooms & 2 pool villas for my company trip from 17-20 May 08. It was a beautiful stay. Top notch 3-star hotel with a unique pool. Excellent service. Fantastic location. A haven amid the bustle of Kuta. Highly recommended!

My friends and I had a great stay here. The pool was fabulous! There were 5 of us and we all had pool access rooms. You absolutely must have a pool access room. The rooms are very basic, clean and nice bathrooms, but you take 2 steps off your balcony and you are in the pool! It was lovely to sit out on your balcony drinking at night and slipping in the pool when you were hot. Unfortunately one night we had a spider in our room and I hate spiders! This hotel promotes itself as "A Tropical Heaven With Balinese Traditions" and looked interesting on the web, so I booked myself into it for a week. Unfortunately the rooms with direct pool access - certainly a nice feature - were fully booked so I took one of the deluxe rooms. Well, first impressions count and when you arrive at the hotel you enter a basically blank entrance hall/lobby with a few cheap desks that are meant to be the reception. We chose to stay at the Kuta Lagoon for our honeymoon in october as we stayed there previously about five years ago before the bombings at the Sari club and we found it to be a fantastic hotel with excellent service so this is why we chose to stay there again. We just got back from spending 2 weeks at Kuta Lagoon and there is nothing whatsoever wrong with this hotel. The one and only problem is the other guests and their loudness. If you like to relax and get away from the busy street than this is the place but on the other hand a few guests decided that it was a party location when it is advertised as a queit get away. The staff know your name after the first few days and it is a perfect place to relax after a busy day shopping. The hotel Spa is not the best but I recommend the Secert Garden Spa... more

i stayed here with my friend on winter school holiday, and it was fabulous! i didnt expect anything good for such a price! i stayed in the pool access room. its so great how you can just jump off your balcony when u feel like swimming. the food are great too if u compare it to the quality and the price altogether to the foods in aussie. and if u'r bored, just go out and shops are ALL AROUND the hotel!

We spent 6 nights in a pool access room. We found the room size to be a bigger rooom than a normal 3 star hotel. Pool access rooms are the only way to go. We found the breakfast to be a little average . You had the choice of four dishes but only one changes each day. The staff are more than friendly and can tell you where to get cheap dvd's, hire a bemo. We did not eat in the resteraunt at night but found a nice cheap resteraunt accross the road. I recently spent 6 nights at Kuta Lagoon Resort and Pool Villas. We stayed in the pool access room and would recommend these above the standard rooms. The breakfast was excellent and the service great. We indulged in two massages which were absolutley relaxing. I found the pool area lacking in cleanliness. The pool had the correct chlorine ect but as the garden grew over the pool it was constantly full of leaves. All it needed was a clean throughout the day.
