KC Grande Resort & Spa

The standard bungalows were not my favorite stop along our tour of Thailand but the place overall was fantastic. The service, the food, and location were grade A. If I were to stay here again I would chalk it up and get a bigger bungalow. However, we did get the ones that were literally directly on the beach and we opened our door and the ocean was about 100 yards (if that!) from our deck. The rate did include breakfast and that was such a great experience.

I'm just back from spending 7 wonderful days at the KC Grande Resort. I was a little wary when I saw the construction work but it didn't have any impact at all - there was no noise once down at the beach. I stayed in a Standard bungalow (101) which was directly on the beach - perfect! The room was small but perfectly adequate - clean, well-maintained and all the necessary services (aircon, TV, fridge). We stayed at this hotel 17Feb for 5 nights. I must be honest........ with all the building going on I felt like getting sick when I saw the "reception desk" just off the main road... anyhow, we carried on towards the main reception, check in staff were friendly. Took us to the Standard bungalow that was not even 10 metres from the beach - which was fantastic! Stayed in a deluxe room on the beach front , if a bit expensive . This is the best place to stay in a very built up and over populated area and the building work is continuing next door . No building noise but a very bad man/man singing in the bar at lunch and dinner , Great massage on the beach

KC Grande is a perfect place on Koh Chang for relaxing on the beach for a few days. Beautiful resort with great cabins (ask for deluxe rooms #444, 555, 666, 777, 888. 999 on the beach), clean and lovely deck too. The staff is fine and speak decent English. Breakfast buffet is huge. The resort offers free beach towels and beach chairs in addition to the pool area and limited deck chairs. KC Grande has the longest beach front area within White Sand Beach. This hotell is absolutly wonderful! We stayed in a deluxe bungalow here for 10 days. It was just the right size for two people, and you had a nice terrace where you could watch the sunset. the bungalow was practicly on the beach, but with palms and a fence you still had your privacy. Right in front of our bungalow, there was ladies that offered you massages for about 250 bath (oh so cheep!). We used that offer every day! If you are planning to stay on Ko Chang in the white sands resort area then this resort has the best beach front area, the rest of the beachs have far more rocky etc. We stayed in a superior bungalows and it was a very good standard inside and allways cleaned everyday. The restarant wasn't up to much so we only used it for the breakfast ( which was included in the price of the room) but there are so many places to eat down the beach we didn't find this a bad thing. This is a great location. right on the beach. bungalows are a little tired but ok. there is also a good fresh water pool. my only grumble is the beach! its so dirty. the water is very clear but rubbish gets washed up all the time. I did see the hotel staff picking up litter once in three days,but its needs to be cleaned more often.

I stayed at the KC Grande Resort a few weeks ago in Ko Chang. I stayed there for 9 nights with my fiance and we loved it!! We stayed in room 121. It was the standard room. We had our own bathroom inside. The air-con was great, the bed was comfy and we had a TV/Fridge. The room was pretty small, but it was perfect for two people. You can't beat the location of our hut. KC Grande Koh Chang (White Sand Beach) has 3 classes of villas/bungalows (superior, deluxe, and standard). All 3 classes offer beach front, second row. Superior and Deluxe are inclusive of western bath, Standard are shared facilities. Resort and rooms are very well kept. We had a beach front superior and were quite satisfied. White Sand Beach (really tan) is where all the action is. (People strolling the beach and the offer of a thai massage for 250 baht.) No partying here quite laid back.
