Value for Money !
Excellent location with shopping, food, relax ( spa & massage ) , contemporary-style room, normal-rated bfast ( not too fancy but okay local delights ) . The only cons is - slow housekeeping service no matter what you ask for - .-
wonderful view
First thing i noticed when i entered the room was the view. it was awesome!!!!! we took super deluxe room facing the waterfront. it only cost us rm175 with b/fast for 2. stayed there for 2 nights. really love it. b/fast was not so fancy. very simple. the room was ok. contemporary style. like the lazy chair. we also love the rain shower. very good water pressure. the glass wall in bathroom is also great, we r able to have great view while having shower. Location is also great. right on front of waterfront market, next to le meridien.
Fantastic hotel
Highly recommend this hotel. It's in a good location, and very much like a 5-star hotel. Breakfast spread was exceptional.
Great location - good for a couple of nights stay.
As mentioned in others reviews, the location is the main selling point of this hotel. We didn't have any problems with amenities during our stay - the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, its a great value hotel for a 1-2 night stay in KK - and if you're planning to be out and about a fair bit. You may find the rooms a bit small, and while modern, finshings have kind of been slapped on. We found breakfast to be an small problem nearly everywhere - I think its just the way things are. Consistent with the Lonley... more
Location--- that's all left to tell
Pros: Great location in a shopping complex. Easy access to restaurants and water front bars. Spacious room Cons: Poorly finished room with out-of-order room ammenities (although newly operated less than 5 years) Dirty bedsheet. Towels with blood stain. Have to ask for ammenities which should have been prepared. No newspaper provided. Poor breakfast ( as every other reviewer has written here) Definitely not worth the MYR 255/ night for a superior king room
Housekeeping problem or hotel policy?
Stayed 6 nights in this hotel. Upon arrival found only one hand towel, so asked housekeeping for additional one which neverr came. No hand towel at all the second day. Two hand towels the third day. We then stopped checking whether there is or how many hand towels are in the bathroom. This same problem also happened to the mediumsize towels. They even did not give us newspapers on the last day. Think it is the hotel policy not to offer guest newspaper on the day they leave. We stayed in the super deluxe room so it... more
Great location, disappointing breakfast
We choose this hotel because the interior looked new. The location of the hotel is great. The hotel is located near Waterfront in the KK city. It's actually on top of a new shopping mall called Warisan Square. Opposite is an old shopping mall called the Centre Point. There is a free shuttle bus in front of Warisan Square to 1Borneo - another huge shopping mall. The room interior is very modern. We had the room with the sea view. It was really nice to have the sea view. We liked the room. We were very disappointed with the... more
great location & modern look
it was my 1 nite stay.. everything was nice, neat and tidy.. with modern designed room including its furniture. i booked a deluxe room side seaview. location is great..warisan square and centre point are accessible by few steps only. u can see aeroplanes taking off and landing just outside your window.. overall, i satisfied with the service, however, i felt lil bit disappointed with the phone in my room. everytime i used the phone to call over housekeeping or room service, the line was engaged. i dont know whether there is... more
Location, Location, Location.
The Imperial is a great hotel to stay at if you're on a short break to KK. Its situated directly above KK's newest shopping mall, Warsain Square and also another massive mall, centre point. For a city hotel the rates were cheap around $30 AUS per person per night. The mall that its above is modern, western, has lots of brand names and restaraunts within it. We stayed in a deluxe room, it was clean, spacious, and very modern for 3 nights. The bed was really comfy and very large! Air con, tv with good channels, a fridge. We also... more
Decent hotel with great location
We chose to stay in this hotel mainly because we like the location. The hotel is connected with Warisan Square shopping mall while Centerpoint, another shopping mall, is just right in front of the hotel. There are plenty of food choices at these two malls and we never ran out of places to eat. Waterfront is also very near about 3 minutes walk away. The room we had, a Standard Superior King Room, was spacious, clean and came with free broadband internet. The walls are "thick" enough and we slept well, unlike our experience at the... more
