Lovely Experience at Hotel Praktik Rambla

We just returned from a stay at your hotel and wanted to let you know what a lovely experience it was. The room was comfortable, the location amazing, the terrace was lovely, the shower was amazing!, and a large factor of our pleasant stay was the kindness, and courteous receptionist Gloria Martin, who was there almost daily. We loved Barcelona, especially our hotel in Las Ramblas, Praktik Rambla. It is a new, boutique hotel that has been redone. It is in a great location in Las Ramblas, with the hustle and bustle of the city. We really enjoyed our trip although we were not particularly fond of the Spanish food. We highly recommend Paella at Seven Portas.
Great rooms - no facilities - but that's why the price is good!

Lovely large clean room with TV and A/C. There are almost facilities: just a patio, a PC, wireless internet and a vending machine. There's no bar, no breakfast, no room service, no pool, no gym etc. But I think that's the idea, minimal service to keep the price down. Everything you could want is on the doorstep anyway! I took along my 14-month old baby and he loved the hotel - lots of places to explore and friendly staff.

We stayed at Praktik Rambla, which is part of the Praktik hotel chain, in early october for 4 days. The first impression of the building is that it was clearly a heritage-type building, but has been renovated and preserved brilliantly. The hotel is clean, slick, and the management have invested money wisely in the interior design, which is cool but comfortable. There is a lounge area which is lovely, but there's no pool. The hotel was good, service more than good Only one point of critic, the matras was really hard to sleep on But for the rest! Very nice and also really good situated!

This hotel is right in the centre of Barcelona and is next to a Metro station, so it's great for city trips. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Small but well furnished and pretty rooms. Also has free wireless internet. In short, a great hotel!

design boutique hotel at an affordable price

Barcelona is a charming city, but the hotel made the 4 days of our trip more precious. The name "Praktik" is really what they are, design boutique hotel at an "affordable" price. They are located in the middle of Rambla Catalunya, the street full of small boutique shops and cafes. The manager at the front desk told us the building is a heritage, built more than 100 year ago, of Modernista style from the 19C when we were checking in. Arriving early, I found the hotel manager to be very helpful. He gave me a locker to stow my luggage until check-in. Afterwards, he checked w/housekeeping to make sure that my room was ready, explaining in English everything I needed to know to make my stay comfortable. The room was clean, the bath adequate and the lounge area a pleasant surprise. The location is a short, safe walk from Placa de Catalunya, the heart of the city. I'll stay there again.

Hotel Praktik Rambla is a wonderful small hotel. The bakery in the next block is wonderful. Excellent location near La Rambla. The value great. I did not expect a hotel this nice. Travelling alone a single room is often difficult to find. I was very happy with this hotel.

Even if we had problems with our car having been towed away and a purse being stolen in the end, this place was wonderful and made us forget about all this. It had a great style, fantastic rooms (we, a couple, were on a trip with another couple, aged between 37 and 53), excellent staff and a wonderful patio in the back. We felt quite private and could get away from the busy streets after a long day. The neighbourhood is also top, you would wish to live there.
