Hotel Piazza Bellini

I don't have much to add to the previous reviews. We stayed one night and loved it. Modern decor in a typical big city building. Breakfast room was nice with a computer for internet and a chance to share advice and notes with follow tourists.

We stayed at the Hotel Piazza Bellini from November 4-7. The hotel currently has only 11 rooms but plans to expand to more than 50 by next year. Reception staff are all multilingual and friendly and clearly proud of their hotel and city. Our booking was completed easily online. Read about this hotel on Trip Advisor and it lived up to all the good reviews. Its a unique place - I can see why some taxi drivers would have trouble finding it as there is only a very small discreet sign on what looks like an apartment. We used the shuttle service supplied by the hotel - not sure if that was the best deal, but they knew how to get there. Once inside the main door, its also confusing where the hotel really is - but go up the stairs to the 2nd floor and voila - its there! You will find it to actually be a great location!... more

I totally agree with all the rave reviews that this hotel has received, with 1 amendment. All the people who worked on reception spoke great English, so communication was no problem & recommended a lovely restaurant - Da Carmella around the corner.

Firstly I would like to send my apologies to Giosue and the fantastic team at Hotel Piazza Bellini for this slightly delayed review – I’ve not been well since I got back but my partner and I had such a fantastic stay that I feel I must share our experience with everyone and write a review to let others know of your existence!! We spent two nights at the Bellini. It is as good as previously said. I was on holidays with my two children, and they liked the artwork by Cocchia on the walls. We ate at the Bellini restaurant down the street, delicious. The hotel is at a short walk distance from the the Archeological Museum, which shouldn´t be missed before visiting Pompei. If we return to Naples, we´ll return to this hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights, and absolutely loved it. It is among the best hotels we've been to in Europe, and the best 3 star hotel by far. The rooms are fairly spacious for a 3 star, the interior is new and modern, bathroom is excellent, and the bed is good. There is network access by cable. The staff is very helpful and speaks good English. I stopped by two other hotels where friends of mine were staying (for a conference), and concluded that the Piazza Bellini is an excellent choice. What a great place to stay.....we highly recommend it.

The Piazza Bellini is like a wonderful hidden gem in an amazing, atmospheric neighborhood, tucked away inside an old building--and that's all part of the charm. While the place is designed with a modern, minimalist aesthetic, it still successfully retains the essential old-world character of the city and the building. This is a new hotel with a modern minimalist style. It is housed in an old building and can be pretty hard to spot since the signs of the hotel is hung on the sides of the main entrance - so if you are taking a taxi make sure you give the driver the street number of the hotel so that he can find it. It is right in the historical centre of the city and about 15 mins walk to Piazza Municipio. The staff is friendly, courteous and very helpful.
