Hotel Kosmoplaz

The best thing about this hotel is the man who works on the reception desk. He is so nice and helpful, we were amazed someone could be so constantly nice. The hotel location is great (right on the beach) and the room was big and clean, so no complaints there. The buffet breakfast is fantastic, we were very happy with that. Hotel Kosmplaz is a great hotel with the sea facing rooms which are literally on the seas edge. Rooms are on the larger side and quite basic but very clean with a nice size fridge (although they request that you have no food or drinks in the room!) so you can keep drinks nice and cold, perfect for sipping on the balcony and watching the world go by underneath. We stayed there in the middle of Aug./06. Bautyful sandy clear beach, The Hotel was very clean, The view of the sea was great, the hotel staff was very polite, courtious, kind & helpful ecept the restruant manager was very errigent to my wife & children because we were not eating in the hotel restruant, But he did not have the guts to say anything to me. We visited 4 Islands and Mykonos was a big dissapointment. We found the town quite dirty and the people very rude and to me being Greek born, I was very embaraced in front of my English wife and Australian friends. Their excuse was that it was the end of the season and they were tired, but that does not leave a good impression with the tourist. It was also by far the most expensive Island we visited which would have been fine if we had been treated better. Very dissapointing.
