Hotel Dei Dragomanni

We have been to Venice twice before and couldn't book anything where we normally stay so the Dragomanni was a new experience. The location is great for visiting the main attractions and it is also near to both the Accademia and Giglio water bus stops (serviced by the No.1 bus). The hotel is very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying at the Hotel dei Dragomanni if you are visiting Venice. It's in a great location, the rooms are beautiful (and our bathroom was huge!) and everyone who works there is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good too!

My wife and I stayed three nights at Hotel Dei Dragomanni. It is a brand new hotel. It is clean, fashionably decorated with excellent service. Hotel staffs are very friendly. They really go out of their way to make you feel at home. Its location is 10 minutes walk from San Marco Square, passing through some of the best retail establishments along the way. I just returned home from Europe and really loved the friendliness and uniqueness of this hotel. The staff was very friendly and interested in how we were doing. We stayed in a triple room which had great ambiance--a dormer shaped, vaulted ceiling. Even though the hotel was smaller than some others I have stayed in, it strived to provide the conveniences of a larger hotel. We stayed in this hotel for two nights as the first stop of our holiday in Italy. We had room 24 which was fantastic,large and had a huge terrace over looking the grand canal, one of the only rooms with a terrace. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb.You could not fault this hotel. It is in an ideal location and is within walking distance to all the main attractions and to the water taxis. A wonderful hotel that provided us with a fantastic start to our holiday.

I just spend there a weekend with my girlfriend and we both loved it. It is new, clean and just great. It was recommended to me by a collegue and trully worthwile.

We just came back from our perfect Venice trip staying at Hotel Dei Dragomanni for 2 nights. As the previous reviews mentioned, this hotel was super. The staff were so helpful and the room and location were excellent. Even this hotel didn't have a private water gate, the dock (Grand Cannal) was very close (less than 50 steps) and hotel staff came to the dock to send us off each time we took a water taxi. We stayed there for 2 nights in june and loved it. Since its a new hotel is not well known but the location and staff are great. As mentioed by the earlier reviewer its quite easy to get to via the water taxi and is a short walk to St. Marks Square. The staff is really friendly and nice and service is awesome at breakfast. Rooms are clean, tastefully decorated and well kept, bathroom is good. We would stay there again

The hotel has recently been refurbished and its been done extremely well. The decor is elegent and bathroom is generous. However we feel the staff were dishonest -we left something in the room which was taken and not returned. We would recommend a stay here - but don't leave any valuables in the room!

We stayed at the hotel from June 13 to June 15 2007, from the train station we took the vaporetto to the giglio stop and followed the directions written at the hotel website. At first instance we were greeted by GianMatteo. He was very happy in welcoming us and the check in went smoothly with no problems....We took the standard room and it was more than enough, just like you see on the website, phenomenal.
