Hotel alla Salute

Very clean, bright and pacefull place. We highly reccommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the charming hotel Alla Salute da CiCi in Venice. The hotel was a very short and easily navigated walk from the vaporetto stop (water bus) and is situated on a small canal. Our room overlooked the canal. The receptionist (Barbara) was very sweet and accomodating. The hotel represented excellent value--one can spend a fortune in Venice on accomodations. The only criticism we had was that the breakfast (included) was very basic...however, we would not hesitate to return to this little charming place!!

The hotel Alla Salute Da Cici is a lovely quiet, private and is very quaint in the old tradition of Venice itself. It’s a very safe place that helps you to feel at home in Venice. its ideally located away from all the noise and foot traffic and at the same time its easily located to get anywhere in the city easily on foot or vaporetto. i can only recommend this simple but cheap (compared to the rest of venice) hotel close to the salute church. Don´t expect any luxury but you don´t want to spent the day in the hotel ? I would almost pay the money for the location of the hotel close to salute church, academia, marcus square,... the area around the hotel offers good restaurant and is much more relaxed than the crowded other side of the "canale grande". the rooms and bathrooms are very simple but clean. My wife and I went on our honeymoon to Italy and spent three weeks tooling around various cities and towns in October. We heard about the da Cici from tripadviser and thought we would give it a try. There were other hotels in our price range (for an economy hotel). We went with the da Cici even though we had a shared bathroom and the other economy hotel options did not. Very friendly staff ( very rare to get such excellent customer service in Italy ) and excellent location ( quiet away from all the noise ) yet very close to all attractions. We booked originally for 3 nights and later changed our mind to only 2 nights as we had already seen most of the sites. The staff made no fuss about allowing us to check out a day earlier even though we informed them quite late the night before. We had a room with private bathroom. The room was very clean and very basic for a 2 night stay. No TV or fridge.... more

Thank you for a most pleasant stay at the Hotel Alla Salute this past august.Their reception was most welcoming and the entire friendly staff made us very comfortable. This hotel situated on a charming canal was very convenient to all major sights. Our lovley room was quiet,very clean, and luxurious. We enjoyed beakfast pleasantly served in the outdoor garden. We will highly recommend this establishment to everyone. When we return to Venezia, we will most definitely stay at Hotel Alla Salute "Da Cici".

We chose this hotel based on the glowing reviews. The location IS excellent - close to attractions, convenient to vaporetto stop, lovely views nearby, but not crowded with people. The room was clean and the bathroom recently remodeled, but the furnishings may need to be replaced soon - bed hurt my back, and the closet/blankets had an interesting odor. Also, there are many mosquitoes (we could tell other guests had the same experience from the marks on the walls). Breakfast consists of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate plus rolls.

Simply lovely spot: clean, quiet and confortable. We'll come back.
