We have just returned from a week at the Paraiso Appartments and had a fantastic time. The appartments have everything you need for self catering (except for an oven) and nice and clean and fresh. Location is great with a short walk to the beach and lots of bars and places to eat around. One thing we noticed was how friendly all of the staff were, everybody eager to help and aiming to please. As we went in Sept there were lots of empty sunbeds so can't comment on how busy it gets at peak times. Special mention has to go to Santino the entertainments guy who spoilt our young son and encouraged everybody to join in all the games and activities. The evenings entertainment shows were not as bad as some have suggested, I personally enjoyed the Oriental Dance show and Santinos quizs gave us something to do in the evenings with a young child in tow.. I would highly recommend the Paraiso for a nice relaxing family/couples break and we will definitley be going back again one day :o)

My daughter and I have just returned from Paraiso Apartments after a week 'just crashing out' on the beach.
This has been our fourth visit to the Paraiso and love the relaxed atmosphere, the cleanliness and the courtesy of all the staff. Cannot be faulted.

Second time at the Paraiso and can't fault it. We will be back thee next year. Really Freindly people and a great team at the Bar, Gabriel, Dani, Albert & Eugenio.
Santino remembered us from last year and what an asset for any hotel.
We didn't eat in the Hotel so I can't comment but I would suggest that you try the Happy bar. Seriously, no other resturant get's near it for food or quality. The Hotel is situated just right. You can get a cab to Cala Millor or Cala Bona but know that you can come back to a bit of peace an quiet. To Simon, Keith and Families, Hope to see ya next year

Excellent Holiday

Back to hotel after a six year absence. Hotel delivers a relaxing, friendly and enjoyable experience. The pool although on the small side is adequate for the size of the hotel and the entertainment is on par with what we have experienced in other hotels. The resort itself offers good value for money. Would recomend a walk to the Eroski hypermarket to save money compared to the overpriced spars. Resturants to consider are Bi Ba Bo (Sillot) and B.I.A (Sa Coma-Food Very Good, Service not good but amusing). Not at all impressed with Delaney's food very poor

Good family holiday in great location

Just returned from these lovely apartments. Couldn't fault cleanliness or attitude of staff - all staff including cleaners were very friendly. Reception staff spoke excellent English.
Rooms were fine, air conditioned, tv, lots of wardrobe space and good comfy beds. Linen changed everyday except Tuesdays.
Pool area - pool could have been a bit bigger for the amount of guests staying - but was very clean. Lots of sunbeds, but nobody seems to mention that you need to be up prior to 7 am in peak weeks to get a poolside bed ! There are no restrictions at all about times of reserving beds.
Some of the pool side sunbeds are very close to the edge of the pool and so you and your belongings can get a bit wet. There are enough sunbeds at these apartments which is a big plus, but most of them are on a roof-top terrace, which is very hot and not ideal to be going up and down wet steps to get to the pool, bar and services. No features at all on the roof-top terrace, it's a bit like a car park.
We used the beach mainly, which is just a few minutes walk away. The beach is great, lovely pale soft sand and shallow water. Lots of beds and brollies. Water sports ie banana boats, pedeloes and paragliding are available.
Sa Coma is a quiet, smallish resort, but ideal for a family holiday. We would recommend Bi, Ba, Bo restaurant in S'Illot or Juan's restaurant in Sa Coma for good food, but beware of 60's Music Bar in Sa Coma who tried to charge extra for ice ! Also, the Olympic Restaurant in S'Illot - great for a drink and to enjoy the entertainment, but the food is awful. We ordered 9 various meals and each one had very little meat - mainly just skin and bone (we're not fussy eaters either). You are given the choice of either veg or chips/potatoes with your meat and if you want both you need to pay extra !
But on the whole, a good family holiday and the apartments are in a great location for enjoying both Sa Coma and S'Illott.

Another crackin holiday

Aug 2010, igh123

Another great 10 day holiday at the Paraiso. Thanks to Santino, the entertainment manager who kept everybody busy in the day time with fun and games, good bar snacks by the pool, two nice guys at the bar, Gabrielle and Dani always very polite.Reception staff very polite and helpful.Cleaners in everyday and fresh towels daily. Never eat at the restaurant at the apartments so can't comment on the food, always seemed a few eating there.Plenty of places to eat in Sa Coma, our fav's were britannia, kings head, jj's and the royal oak, all offering large portions, also the white lion has great food but portions not so big, came away full not bloated like the other places.Good groups playing at brittania and kings head. Take that, abba and michael jackson tributes were partically good.Beach is lovely and the water is safe for kids. Did the thomson waterpark trip to aqualand el arenal, good day out, pay the 3 euro extra when booking to include your meal(burger, chips, drink and ice cream) as the food at the waterpark is a right rip off, 4 euro for a cone of chips!! The local spar shops are a rip off, so only use for daily essentials. We did one big shop at the eroski supermarket on the edge of town, food there is basically half price of what it is in the spar shops.Buy your fags in the resort, dearer at the airport. All in all another crackin holiday and will be returning again for our forth time in 2012. Met some lovely people whilst we were there,And a special hello to mark, gary, rob, dave and there famillies, the killer pool buddies, you will know who you are, would be nice to see them again in 2012

Where do I start, the whole holiday just couldnt be faulted. The apartments are just like being in a hotel and the whole of the staff just go one step further to make your stay memorable. Could not fault it. All amenities are close by and lots are very english. We booked our own flights with BMI and transfers with Resort Hoppa ( do not hesitate to use them they are brilliant)and booked accomodation through Monarch. It all went like clockwork. We visited s'illot, a little tired by day but great atmosphere at night. You must try eating at Fawlty Towers, good home cooking with REAL chips. Sa Coma food just as good, again J'Js near Eroski supermarket is brilliant, a little further to walk but well worth it, as all the other mentioned bars in the resort. A must for boat lovers the many trips to various resorts

Well what a brilliant holiday we have just had, We stayed at the Paraiso in Sa Coma Majorca. All the staff at the hotel are FAB can't praise them enough. Mario and the other reception staff were very helpful and lovely. The entertainment was brilliant and Santino is a great entertainer lovely with the children. The hotel is FAB very clean with lots to do. The rooms were cleaned every day and any problems you may have were addressed straight away for example the apartment door would not lock and within 2 minutes it was fixed, so helpful. We had an evening meal at the Parasio every night it was beautiful a wide variety of choice and exceptional quality can't recommend it enough. The hotel is fab and the staff make sure they do everything to help you have a wounderful stay. The beach is minutes away from the hotel with a lovely paved prom for a stroll along. Sa coma is a perfect resort for couples and families very friendly.
We are going back to the Paraiso in 2010 as it is lovely, what a holiday!!!!!.

  • Advice: Lovely resort, great for couples and families.

where should i start? we stayed half board for 10 days at theses apartments and i was amazed at the quality and cleanliness of the apartments. the staff were very funny and helpful and went out of thee way to ensure you had a great holiday. especially santino the entertainer, he is great with kids, at around half 11 every day he plays a game with the kids called jakalot or somethin like that, then at around 12 ish there is water polo, and sometimes water aerobics. yet it is not noisy or crowded despite all this. the guy was a legend!!!
the food was very very good. i would recommend half board to anyone, if you want trqaditional spanish food e.g. paella, they have all that, and if you just like english food they have all tht. for breakfast it is cereals, fruit, full english breaakfast every day !!!!!!!
the pool is quite small but big enough for every one who stays there. it is literally 2 minuted from the beach which is beautiful.
i could chat on for hours about this holiday but ill leave it here, LOVED IT!!!!!! would definately recommend it and we are revisiting next year :)

  • Advice: lots to do yet not loud, very good clean aps. great staff etc etc.
  • Activities: stayed half board, loads of bars and resterants tho.

My wife and i went to the Paraiso at the end of June and we had a really great time. The staff were very friendly. All rooms ( very clean ) have a sea & pool view.I cannot comment on the food at the Paraiso as we went out for our meals. The beach was only a 3 minute walk away. The pool was a bit on the small side but ideal for younger children. The entertainment was ok and the entertainments guy tried very hard.We tried a few different places to eat but our favourite 2 were The Dug Out ( British owned ) and Happy cafeteria.Sillot is a short stroll away and in the evening it is livelier than Sa Coma along the promonade. If you fancy an evening in Cala Millor you can catch a bus just 100 yds away and it will only cost you 1 euro 65 cents each to get there,a taxi will cost you approx 7/8 euros.I do not think that Sa Coma would be ideal for older teenagers as there are no discos or clubs, but for families with younger children and couples it is ideal.I certainly hope that we will go back one day.

We stayed at the Paraiso in Aug and had a fantastic holiday. The hotel is excellent very clean and spacious rooms. Everthing you need in your room and hotel. Rooms are excellent and are very clean. Lots of spacious wardobe space and great bathroom with fresh clean towels daily. All staff and other holiday makers were very friendly. Staff do everything they can for you without any fuss, all waiters and bar staff cannot do enough to help you, Entertainment guy Santino is such a really nice friendly guy, great with the kids and adults and makes your holiday really enjoyable. Paraiso is close to everthing and a very clean place, beach is spotless. Lots of places to eat, all types of food to choose from.
Try to avoid shopping for food at the Spar shops they are expensive, when just a ten minute walk you will find the Hypermarket Eroski, where you will find everything half the price.
Quite few germans around Sa Coma but they didnt bother us Paraiso was about 95% english.
We are def booking for the Paraiso again next year. We had a very enjoyable holiday here and would reccommend 100% to anyone.
Thanks to Santino for a great laugh and all the friends we met there, like John Sandra and Blake from Coventry and Gary Kay and kids from Hampshire, Sue Conrad and family from Hertfordshire.
Thanks
