There was 8 of us on this holiday 2 families.
When we got to the hotel we got taken to a suite (1009) well thats if you can call it this room was at the top of the hotel nothing matching 1 tiny bathroom where the shower was falling off the wall and a very dirty toilet, all stairs no lifts my mum-in-law knew she would not be able to cope with these stairs 3-4 times a day so the next day we asked for the 2 rooms that we had paid for in the first place and without a problem we got them on the 2nd floor much better.I had re-quested a fridge as my son is on medication which is needed to be kept in a fridge we had no fridge and they said they could not get us one so we had to put it in the fridge behind reception which i was not happy about as we didnn't know who went in it or even leave the door open if this had happened we would not be-able to use this medication again we would of had to of thrown it away and that would mean thowing £1000 away im sure the NHS would have loved that! When i asked for the freezer blocks to be put in a freezer for the trip home i found the next morning they had only put them in a fridge i dont think they know what a freezer is!!!
Other guests at the hotel from france and Italy were also rude they dont know how to queue like us brits and when told to go to the end of queue they got very nasty be warned.
Food was good and always hot but we were put in a time slot i thought All Inclusive meant you could eat at what ever time you wanted but not at this hotel!
The slide pool was dirty hardly ever cleaned we saw someone being SICK and a child had done a POO down the green slide we also saw big balls of hair floating by a few times!!!!
Local people very rude taxi drivers the main ones a few times they shouted rude remarks to us because we did not take their taxis and when we did get a taxi my friend and her daughter got touched up by the driver, another man on the a boat trip we went on told my mum-in-law to shut up!!!
Keep your daughters very close to to you!!!!
Would go to Tunisia again but not for a few years.
Our rep Martin was not alot of help he said he was gonna help with the fridge/freezer situation but never did!!

i cant see what people are moaning about. the place is lovely , ok the flies area problem when eating outside but i just went into the resturant and got my food and sat where there was a free seat or took it back to my sunbed [ i know this was not to be done but i had no grief from anyone] we did get a few of the animation team keep coming up to us to do keepfit , fun and games but when we said NO they didnt really keep on like a lot of people have said . The food can geta bit boring but come on its only 1 or 2 weeks out of your year.
My family and my friend family enjoyed it sooooooooooooooo much that if we had the money we would go back as soon as we came home.
FANTASTIC

the hotel is good, very clean, and spacious, the swimming pools and garden areas very nice. We stayed here from 25th july 2010 till 1st august. Rooms very basic but clean, plenty of hot water and good air conditioning. But, the place is swarming with flies, the food is absolutely diabolical, nothing you would eat at home in england, all very basic and unrecogniseable, you will live on pizza or chips or starve, the queue for dinner is ridiculous, like lining up for your first dinner after starving for one month, no meat to speak of, and you have to eat at the same time every evening and lunchtime, the entertainment was diabolical, they danced every night and that was it, someone got a lighted torch in their lap at the fire show on the beach, you are harrassed and hassled all day every day, they refuse to take no for an answer, beware of the photographer taking pictures of your daughters, and also beware of the tunisian men. They are after one thing and dont care how old you are. Dont trust the taxi drivers, go on any free trips and dont go in shops alone, they will lock you in until you buy, they rip you off all the time, short change you where they can and nothing is real, we definately will not be going back, we couldnt wait to get home for a peaceful, relaxing stressfree day, with no one hassling us to buy something, we also come home with about 600 dinar, 300 pounds, as refused to give any money to them. Ibiza here we come next year, the houda h*** hole can go to h***

This hotel has great potential. We have just returned after a 10 night holiday, this was our 1st all inclusive & we was not impressed! Party of 8 all ages, room swaps for our friends after 1st night due to trying to fob of a shocking 'family Room' instead of the 2 booked! Rooms very basic ours was ok & clean due to having a great maid but we was lucky to get our sheets changed as others didn't all holiday. Hotel full of rude french guest who constantly don't queue, you get the impression the English are not liked very much & be expected to get ripped off at every chance they get, GET A RECEIPT for safe & extra key deposit as they will try all they can not to give you any deposits back!!! Food is only available at certain times & you are given a time slot for lunch & dinner at the same table, can't go early or late as someone else is allocated the table. Food was very fresh & ok, would have liked a bit of fruit which was scarce. Pool areas are a distance apart we only used the slide area as it was quieter if you want a sunbed you have to get up at 6am to towel reserve. Pool was not cleaned the whole time we was there & no smell of chlorine whatsoever even though we saw someone throw up in it & a kiddie poo down a slide! We did tell Amanda are rep who was onto it as we was leaving. The tunisians could do with a few customer relations lessons & if your young or pretty or blonde watch out you will get lots of attention. Would go back to Tunisia but not this hotel.
- Advice: Could be a great hotel with more staff & a shake up!

lets start by saying HOUDA want to stay here,no its not a joke............on arrival at reception we had to fill in another form before been escorted to room which was clean and basic but upto scratch.food was ok ,repeated most of days though yorkshire pudding was available for breakfast ,thought might try some with some beef but couldnt find any so didnt bother .had to que for drinks which was a bit c*** same as kids ice cream which was flavourd ice and in pots about 2cm high.if you like flies on you constantly then this is the place for you from moment you wake up till you fall asleep you are knocking them off you.pool was clean and very big,but if you want to go to pool with water slides then you have to go through reception past them very pleasent receptionists.lol.entertanment team was very good start about 10am and dont stop, night entertainment at night was excellent especially the michael jackson show.cleaners were very nice and always said morning and hello.alcholic drinks were poor ,had to cue and only could have 2 plastic beakers at a time which were about 10cm in height, ive tasted stronger soft drinks.if you went to beach you get none stop hassle from sellers, selling wrap arounds to ciggerettes but you can haggle with them which is quite funny especially when they call you a cheeky bugger.on day of checkout which is 12noon reception staff didnt want to know they snatched our key off us and woul'nt listen to us at all when we wanted to know where we could wash/shower as our coach was at 6pm.they did finally get us a room to shower in for about half an hour in which this time a family were trying to get in,great organisation ....not.DONT FORGET TO PACK MEDICAL STUFF SUCH AS TCP ,PLASTERS ETC ETC,cos they will charge the earth for it,eg £20 for a bottle of tcp.another tip if you do decide to come here and want to go supermarket which is opposite main gates try using the one to the left which is just down the road and you may be asked to get a taxi even tho its 30 yards away.WOULD I COME BACK ,DEFINATLY NOT THE WORST HOTEL IVE EVER BEEN TO AND THOMSON AND THOMAS COOK SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES FOR ALLOWING THIS DUMP TO BE ADVERTISED IN THERE BROCHURES.also full of ignorant germans who i dont think they know what manners are or in fact have never seen food before as it was a scrap every lunch and evening meal to get food ,just pushing in everytimeand rushing to get to buffet.oh and be carefull of speeding waiters with trolleys cos they will get you.nearly forgot if you want a bed around pol be prepared to be up before 2 30 am as thats what time people are getting towells on beds ,friends we met out there saw them ,and couldnt belive what they were seeing.IF YOU STILL DECIDE TO GO AFTER READING THIS ALL I CAN SAY YOU WAS WARNED .

For all inclusive the choice of snacks and drinks was very limited, we arrived late on the Sunday, and after filling in yet another form we were shown to our room, there was little lighting in the corridors, and no light for the balcony, so we couldnt sit out in the evenings, the room was basic but clean, with towels changed daily, the miads and all staff were very friendly, our rep Amanda was very friendly and easy to approach about any concerns which we had.
The pool area and beach are the best part of the hotel (especially the waterpark),as the pool is big enough for the large amounts of guests, although the majority of the sunbeds were broken, the ainimation team although they were friendly they were also a bit to pushy, we had gone for a relaxing week in the sun, but we were being harrassed even few minutes asking to join in games and such, they had to be told more than once before they left you alone for a bit, the evening entertainment was ok although a bit repetitive.
The food was a bit boring, and the same sort of things most days, the waitor service was very good and very friendly.
Some guests were rude and pushy (the French and the Germans)
SOME ADVICE IF YOUR TAKING YOUNG GIRLS BEWARE OF THE PHOTOGRAPHERS ALWAYS WANTING TO TAKE PICTURES, AND THE ANMATION TEAM WOULD RATHER TALK TO CLEAVAGE THAN YOUR FACE
Overall the hotel was ok, although we wont be returning.
- Advice: Be aware of the photographers, take insect repellent, and watch out for the flies!!!

Awful, went All Inclusive but had to pay for ice creams and snacks?? They did do ice cream once a week for fre tho!! Kids club aged from 3 and my daughter hatred it, they had no security or record of her being there, they let her wonder off. ENT problems in pool that they knew about but didnt warn anyone, my kids had infections and we had to pay for injections, doctors and antibiotics, many nights we were without any sheets and had to walk to reception to tell them cos the phones didnt work. There was no lighting in corridors, no escalators for prams. We asked for low floor balcony, we got top floor, window. Was told we needed to pay xtra for those, even if we had a disabled child. Snacks such as sandwiches (which were free) were covered in flies, only alowed 2 drinks per personat a time so the queues at bar was terrible. .Was given one hour timeslot for lunch an dinner and then someone would be waiting for your table, cos you had to sit at same table every time. The sunbeds were all nearly broken, trying to get a seat at night time and for entertainment was awful. they put everyone but british as priotiy. They were after tips all the time, Tip box here and everywhere. There were wires hanging out of walls. Reception came accross nice but were really nasty later on. Safe cost 30 dinars, spose to get 10 back but they tried getting away woth it and then they 'couldnt' open the cash desk. Departure bus then urned up and we had to go. And if yiure goingwith young girls keep an eye on them, cos we saw alot of wat went on with the staff!! Othe rthan that, the weather was lovely and the beach was ok! Its put me off holidays abroad forever! We went fo 2 weeks, end of june to mid july.

I stayed at the houda from 23/6-30/6 with 18 family members, raging froim ages 4-55, and i must say we had an excellent time...
the animation team were fantastic, the pools were great, rooms were clean and tidy....a little basic, but suited us....
only downside for me was the food.... i literally lived on bread and boiled eggs.... and my children pizzas....other than that i genuinlly had an amazing time.....
and the adorable 'ice cream man' was so lovely and great with the kids.....

1/ bedrooms dirty ,dark, small and well dated, asked to be moved to a better room ,was told we had the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!
2/FOOD well if you can call it food, and we are not fussy eaters ,but there was nothing edible, unless you want to live on pizza and omelettes.
3/ very noisy, not able to sleep
4/animation team dressed as young tarty women with balloons up their tops, rubbing them in guests faces,we did not find it amusing.
only positve things the staff were friendly and the pool and beach were okay ,left the hotel and got a transfer to another hotel after 12hr .If you are looking for a chilled out holiday ,then dont bother going to the houda
This was the worst hotel we have stayed in .Save your money and go to a different hotel
- Advice: problaby good for familes with young kids ,not good for older couples

Just returned from what you could call holdiay from h**l. The hotel is very very dirty there was poo on the side of the toilet in my room. I had money stolen from my room and the Thomas Cook representative was just rude about it.
Too much qeueing for everything...even for a bottle of water u have to qeue (behind people wanting beer/spirits) at the only available bar (lobby bar) with only one waiter serving the over 1000 people in the hotel.
The animation team is wicked and Momo from kids club is very good.
From about 6.30 in the morning people start slamming their doors worst of all are the cleaning ladies. Even when having the do not disturb sign on they knock and come in!!
Beware of the food, me and my 4 year old were ill all week and could not get any food down! This is almost for sure due to all the flies sitting all over the food.
This is definitely not a 3star hotel!! Beware of the Thomas Cook representative Amanda too, she is rude and arrogant!!
Also I didnt believe that French and German could be so rude but they are a nightmare. Very aggressive....
WATCH OUT IF GOING WITH YOUNG GIRLS....Tunisians clearly say that age does not matter in Tunesia...disgusting!
