We had a brilliant holiday. We have a 4yr old daughter and we decided to go on a super family holiday this year and it was well worth it as we there was loads of extra stuff for the kids to do. There was a drop off place for them they was well looked after it was good because it kept her out of the sun at peak time in the day and because we could have a bit of time to sun bathe so we managed to relax a bit.
The entertainment at night was good the kids loved the disco but it was so loud!
We stayed self catering we had friends who stayed half bored they wasn’t impressed. There is loads of pubs and restaurants and we managed to go in quite a few
DONT go in the Chinese, e got ripped off the food was ok, but didn’t enjoy it
The resort is small and friendly and the beach is clean.

We were allocated the Coma Gran apartments on arrival at Palma airport - Thompson staff made the journey from Cardiff to the hotel extremely smooth. On arrival at the hotel there were two reps.
We were allocated an apartment on the 5th floor - I have to say with a terrace to die for - the hotel and the facilities were second to none and the staff were friendly and helpful without being pushy for the tours. Although we did not attend the night entertainment, deciding to sit out on the terrace, It seemed well organised and was well attended.
The Coma Gran is ideally situated for both beach and restaurants - this is the second holiday I have booked with Thompson the first being an Nile cruise and I would recommend both the resort of Sa Coma and the tour operator.

We have just arrived back from our holiday to the Coma Gran.
It was fantastic. The rooms were so clean, the maids cleaned daily and changed the linen and towels.
The staff were very friendly especially the bar waiters Angel and Carlos.
The reps worked non stop from morning till night and had such alot of energy especially Leo.
There are alot of places to eat, we were spoilt for choice every night.
The beach is a lovely place. It gets very busy.
We went on two excursions. The first one was to see the Pirates. What a brilliant evening we all had. You have a meal while your watching it.
The second one was to Western Water Park. Our children loved this because of all the water rides.
We all had a brilliant time and cannot fault anything.
Well done to all the staff and the Thomson reps, you made our holiday. You will certainly see us all again.

Having just returned from Sa Coma, I wanted to post some comments on how it went.
My husband and our children(both 7) went for a week self catering at this apartment/hotel. Straight from the moment we stepped into the reception, we were treated with warmth and friendliness, which was great as it was 4am. The hotel was clean and spacious and looked more as if it was a 5*.
The welcome meeting informed us of the trips available and made the children feel as if the next week was all about their enjoyment. We booked our trip, to the pirate show, straight away, as this is booked quickly. It was a fab show and worth the money, we recommend paying that bit extra to see it from better seats.
The rooms are cleaned every day and bedclothes and towels are changed daily.
as we stayed s/c we ate out every night and it was all well priced. We never had a bad meal, for fussy kids, the Britannia was great at catering to the kids needs. what really made this holiday was the entertainment staff. They worked from morning to night, ensuring the children’s needs were catered for, there was nothing they wouldn’t do or didn’t do to entertain the children of all ages.
This was by far the best family holiday that we’ve been on and would recommend to families with children(even the older ones).

Apartments very clean and overall of a good standard. Reception area good and staff always willing to help. Area very good - not far from beach (5 mins) and shops nearby too. Entertainment very good - Thomson super family. Good facilities (crèche, drop-in and kids clubs) for children of all ages. All English hotel.
On the minus side - bar expensive, equivalent to being in UK. You may have to get up early to save yourself a decent sunbed - we always moan about the Germans - we are worse, or so it appears from the number of towels on beds prior to 8 a.m.

What a fantastic resort! I cannot think of a bad to say about the Coma Gran or Sa Coma.
The apartment themselves are large, clean and have maid service everyday except Wednesday. For a one-bed apartment it more than filled our needs as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children aged 4 and 2). The hotel staff were friendly and it felt like nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is a Thomson exclusive so NO GERMANS! hurray!
The pool was clean , the kids clubs were excellent. The had a drop centre so you could go with you children. The entertainment day and evening was first rate - Thanks LEO and ADAM!
Sa Coma is a lovely clean resort, very British great places to eat would recommend the Royal Oak.
Highly recommend the Pirates Show, my two loved it!
Definitely recommend this hotel and we will go back!

This is the second time that we have been to this Hotel. The Hotel itself is always clean. The rooms are cleaned daily and if you want you can have fresh towels daily.
The food in the restaurant is great and there is something for everyone even the kids have their own section.
The entertainment team were excellent again this year and were always working hard to make sure that everyone was being kept entertained. If you did not want to get involved then you did not have to.
The Kids club is Air conditioned and my 7 year old went almost every day and had a great time.
Katie and Ryan were in charge of the entertainment in the day and at night and made a great job of keeping everyone happy. There is a Kids Disco every night at 8.30pm followed by either Katie or Ryan doing something or a professional act coming in.
I was concerned that as we were going back to the same place 2 years on the trot that we would not enjoy ourselves as much. We had a great time and would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to our friends, relatives or anyone that asks us. We will go back some day.

Excellent holiday.
Hotel was always clean, with friendly staff. Kids club and lots of other activities for the children. There are play areas and pools for the kids, and there was always something planned for the guests, kids activities before 8 pm and parent’s activities after that. The entertainment was always good.
The weather was great. Even when it rained, it was only for a short while and we didn’t notice it at all.
The reps where knowledgeable about the resort and were always happy to make suggestions.
We planned a couple excursions, a catamaran trip and a scuba diving trip. Both were well planned and we always felt we were well looked after. The scuba diving especially is an exhilarating experience, if you haven’t done it before.
I would definitely take my family there again.

The Coma Gran aparthotel was spotless the maids kept the rooms clean 6 days a week we had a great time in Sa Coma and enjoyed staying at the coma Gran.
The only thing that spoilt the Coma Gran was the entertainment in the day, in the night in the day, the entertainment was the same, and the nighttime entertainment left a lot to be desired.
The weather spoilt it a bit, as it rained for 4 days of the 2 week that we were there. Our daughter is five and she got bored by the second week.
If you are in to listening to babies crying for most of the day by the pool then you must go here.
It is a shame the entertainment let this hotel down as everything else was fantastic the location, Sa coma itself and the hotel.

The room was very clean and well equipped with a pool side view. This benefited us as we had children aged 10 and 14years therefore they were able to play in the pool area whilst we were getting ready.
The entertainment was excellent giving us a range of activities to participate in with the children and also providing entertainment for adults as well.
Sa Coma itself is a lovely place with a very clean and inviting beach, the pubs and bars are excellent too.
We will be returning in the future.
