Ha Van Hotel

Well,if you`re looking for a very easy accomodation,near the beach and in the center of the town( ...but in a quiet alley!!!...) this is the best solution! Great location about 2 minutes from the beach and evening attractions. Big and clean rooms with A/C and hot shower. We'd booked a double room and had two double beds in the room! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Laundry service available. Nice rooftop restaurant for breakfast. Liked it a lot.

My husband,myself and my brother went to Nha Trang for our sons wedding. My son reserved Ha Van hotel and I was immediately impressed with the price but then thought there must be something wrong with it. My son assured me that I would like it. I trusted him but still had my doubts. Upon arrival I was immediately impressed with the friendliness of the staff. They were so warm and accommodating. They couldn't do enough for us. Now I'm a 4-5* kind of girl, so when it was sugested that we stay in a US$15 hotel I was not too sure! However, at the Ha Van Hotel we received 5-Star service for the price. The check-in was very smooth; the rooms were fresh and very clean; the property was handy to beach, bars, shops & tourist attractions; we had fresh towels & our bed made each day; incredibly cheap laundry service; and the service from staff and mangement was fabulous. At US$12/night (plus $3 for b/fast) this hotel cannot be beaten for value for money. Aside from a couple of hassles on check-out, we had a very enjoyable stay. The rooms are large, clean, air-conditioned, with private bathroom and satellite TV. The pillows & towels could be a bit thicker but I guess if you start making those sort of improvements the price of the rooms has to go up. For what we got we really can't complain!! I had high expectations of this place based on the reviews, but I have to say, we only stayed one night before we moved on. Yes it is inexpensive, but in a town like Nha Trang, there are TONS of inexpensive hotels to choose from, so frankly, I am not sure why this one gets rave reviews. The booking process seemed to go smoothly enough. I stayed at this hotel at the end of January 2008 as this hotel had gotten great reviews on TripAdvisor, and liked it a lot! The room was really clean as others said, location was great (1-2min walk from the beach - but not on the main road - not noisy) , the rooftop restaurant served fantastic food, and staffs were friendly. I cannot find the hotel like this one in the same price range (or even a bit higher ranges, I would say). If you're looking for a top hotel in Nha Trang, you can't go past this one. Great rooms at a great price. We had a double deluxe room which was quite spacious and included a good size balcony at front of hotel for $15 a night. The rooftop bar really adds to the atmosphere and it's here you can enjoy a few drinks, and also indulge in some fine Aussie export beef as Bob cooks up a storm on his barbeque. An incredibly friendly place owned and managed by 3 Aussie blokes who go out of their way to ensure your stay is extremely comfortable.

I stayed here a few nights at the end of January 2008 and enjoyed it tremendously. Not only is it cheap $15 a night, and the location is off the main road, what made this stay memorable and exceptional was meeting the two Aussie owners, Bob and Phil. They were friendly, very helpful with resources, and even took us to the local bar, the Sailor Club on one occasion. The hotel is exactly as described by others. Its spotlessly clean, with a working elevator. The place is great value for the money.
