A Hideaway in Paradise
from DoctorChaz
wonderful little hotel full of charm and tropical lushness. Service is excellent with personal service from the owner (cant get that in many places). close to beaches, shops, and town of Quepos. Highly recommend the Falls, in fact I am looking to return very soon!!
The Falls Resort was a phenominal place to stay in Quepos!
from DavidInChicago
The Falls Resort is a short walk from Manuel Antonio National Park. From the moment my partner and I arrived, we were treated to a wonderful experience. Richard, the owner, even picked us up from the airport. Relaxing drinks by the pool, a walk through the amazingly beautiful lush gardens, great price, and outstanding accommodations made this this best choice. Our room was extremely comfortable, quiet, and well appointed. We had a huge shower and a big walk in closet. The rooms were very clean and the A/C kept us cool if it got too...

Beautiful grounds and accomodating management
from MAFlyer
My partner and I really enjoyed the Falls. Management was very accommodating to all of our requests, and helped us book all of our excursions. The grounds were beautiful, we even saw and heard monkeys. The guests were a good mix of couples (gay and straight), singles and families. It was very easy to talk with people and even make friends. Regarding the music from the adjacent club mentioned by another reviewer, I was there as well. Our room wasn't bad, we had no trouble sleeping. We also knew we were going to a resort town in Latin...

Romance at a Great Price
from Wanda22124
Don't be fooled by the humble face that The Falls Lodge at Manuel Antonion presents to the street. Once you go beyond the locked gate and interior reception area, the lodge opens up to a lavish, jungle setting that few of its competitors can match. The Falls, with its old-world glory, is what you came to Costa Rica to experience: ceiling fans, red tiles, plantation shutters, mosquito netting and a foliage so lush that you can't see the wood-and-stucco structures that house the boutique hotel's twenty-something rooms. ...

Techno at night? Not what we were looking for
from siberianfruit
The Falls Resort is a pretty nice place. Not amazing, but pretty nice. It's a collection of what they call "suites", which are fairly spacious rooms with a bathroom and walk in closet. The rooms are simple and pretty nice (not amazing). The gardens in the middle of the resort are nice as well. However, this was not what I was looking for for these reasons: - We came to Costa Rica to get away. In the evening, instead of getting quiet time to relax, we heard techno music which ruined the experience for me. I don't know if the...

Management response from greatwater1
While many folks may want to argue with commentary from visitors, I have to say that I completely agree with the primary concern about the noise. The very popular club nearby has never been a problem until this weekend when they hired a Techno group for the week. We discussed the issues with the owners and the following night was much better and we expect the problem to be resolved as of now. We do apologize for the incovenience. I´m sorry you were not here long enough to enjoy the monkeys coming in to the gardens almost daily now, and our first giant anteater in many months. We would also suggest our hotel for folks who want exceptionally clean rooms with an old world feel. Our goal is certainly not to mimick large brand hotels, but rather to be a warm and comfortable boutique. We will keep working to be the best in that market. Thanks
Incredible Value at The Falls
from srtraveler14
Please excuse the tardiness of this review. I had referred some of my friends to the resort and got an unexpected phone call from the owner thanking me for sending more people his way. After my experience I have been all mouth about the resort and Costa Rica. I thought it was about time to share my thoughts in a more public forum. I had visited Quepos/Manuel Antonio in November 2007 exploring investing opportunities. We rented a private house and the experience was awesome. I fell in love with the people, the country, and the opportunity....

The Falls was BEAUTIFUL
from lisadoubleyou
My boyfriend and I stayed at The Falls for a 5 day vacation this November. We were worried because we had such a short time and it was what the local tourism board calls the "Green" season (aka rainy season). Well, we had no need to worry! The staff at the Falls was so, so helpful in making sure we got the most out of every minute we spent in Costa Rica! They were incredibly knowledgeable about the area and had a multitude of resources and local contacts for activities ranging from surfing to rafting to restaurants to tours of Manuel...

Beautiful Resort, Exceeded our expectations
from kathmandu7
My girlfriend and I went to Costa Rica for five days. We intended to stay at the Falls for two days and then move on but ended up spending our entire trip there. So much to do, such an incredibly beautiful and peaceful resort, amazing weather, wonderful people, hospitable hosts and staff, great food, amazing jungle, stunning beaches, incredible mountain-top views, delicious restaurants... it goes on and on. The resort blew us away, we expected it to be nice... but it was spectacular. Gardens were truly breathtaking, rooms were huge and...

More Than a Hotel, We Loved It
from joannaCary_Nc
We love Costa Rica, the beauty of this country, along with the friendliness of it's people make any visit a pleasure. But, staying at The Falls in Manuel Antonio provided another enjoyable dimension to our visit. The rooms are immaculate, large and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast delicious. The price more than reasonable. The grounds are beautiful. However, what makes this place unforgettable is the people. They were there anytime we needed anything, answering questions, helping with our plans and basically...

Loved the hospitality and ambiance
from selmablunk
We were looking for a place to stay in Manuel Antonio and walked into about 5 hotels. We picked this one based on the following: The facility had beautiful vegetation with exotic plants, an enticing bar with a Tiki feel and was very open, a nice restaurant which overlooked the pool and grounds of the hotel. The rooms were spacious, had comfortable bedding, and had nice size bathrooms. Since there were 5 of us with the children we got 2 rooms. The Falls was kid friendly and Eco sensative. The breakfast was included and it was very...
