Great Place
Just got back from a few days in Lisbon. Great city, great hotel. The hotel is very new - the company's president came from Spain to officially open the hotel whilst we were there. So, everything is gleeming and new. There's a nice bar area as you walk in and lots of comfortable chairs and sofas to lounge around in/ The room was large with a massive bed. There are about 5 light switches next to the bed for you to choose your own combo of lighting. The pillows come with a menu depending on what sort you prefer. The... more
Wonderful hotel!
My husband and I loved this hotel! Having stayed in Paris the weekend before we went to Lisbon, we were not sure what to expect. We paid more for a tiny, run down, three star hotel in Paris than for this new 5 star in Lisbon. This was a beautiful hotel in a beautiful city. The location is perfect, only a 5 minute walk from the Avenida da Liberdade, although up a rather steep hill, and a beautiful 15 minute stroll from the Baixa. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I'd slept on in... more
Great New Hotel
This half business/half tourist hotel is a great addition to Lisbon's hotel scene. The rooms are excellent with great modern decor and good facilities. The location is great - not right in the centre but an easy 15min walk just off the main avenue as you approach the city. Staff are well trained and very friendly. Best of all, we got an excellent rate - not sure if these great rates will persist as the hotel grows in popularity - but overall this really was an excellent hotel.
Absolutely Loved Eurostars
My husband and I stayed at the Eurostars to celebrate our 15th Wedding Anniversary and we were not disappointed at all. The hotel staff were welcoming, accommodating and so helpful. The hotel itself was lovely and close to all amenities (including free internet access in the lobby). The buffet breakfast was exceptional with english and continental food. Lovely Danish pastries, healthy options and copious amounts of coffee (of which I had many - special thanks to the waitres and Sergio). Within easy walking distance of the Baxia... more
very nice
lovely hotel on a quiet street off a bustling main avenue. within walking distance to the Baixa (15 min), and very close to the metro station (Avenida). also close to bairo alto and tram 28.although i would have preferred be live in baixa itself. breakfast was great! smoked salmon, prosciutto ham, scrambled egg, fresh papaya etc rooms were large and airy. main problem is that the tv channels provided were limited. only 1 english tv channel!! rest were all portugese/spanish and for some reason, lots of german language... more
Excellent hotel! Great staff, great rooms, great location and great facilities.
Very clean, very good service! All staff were extrememly friendly and helpful and seemed very proud of the hotel. I would definitely stay again when in Lisbon and think this was one of the best hotels I have been to.
excellent hotel
this is a brand new excellent hotel near lisbon centre. i would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in lisbon. the staff is very helpful and polite and the rooms are great.
Fantastic Staff!
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three days. The staff was amazingly friendly and helped us every time we needed anything. The hotel has been open less than a month, and though there were a few minor issues, such as spotty stocking of minibar and room amenities, it was lovely. The bar stocks several different Portuguese wines and Ports, and is manned by the friendly staff-Rui and occasionally Sergio-who were most helpful with tips on seeing the city. The beds were super comfortable, nice quality sheets, and towels and very... more
A Lovely "Boutique" Hotel
Being a new hotel and no earlier reviews whatsoever to go by, there was a level of anxiety about staying in this hotel for 6 nights starting July 8th. The taxi drivers at the airport had no clue about the existence of this hotel, and when we arrived on the street I excitedly pointed out the hotel to the driver. To me it looked like one of the boutique hotels I frequent in Toronto. I knew it had to be good. The foyer was super clean and shiny, bright and inviting. We often made use of this section to chat, have coffee in the bar and read... more
Beautiful Hotel, Good Location
Hotel just opened at the end of June 2008. I think we were the 1st people to stay in our room. We were upgraded to a suite, which was amazing. We only paid 79 Euro/night, which I think was an introductory rate to fill the hotel. Location is very good. Would have been happier a little closer to Baxia or the Barrio Alto, but not a problem (especially if you choose to taxi everywhere). Hotel is beautiful. All wood, marble, and chrome. Rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and a good size (especially the suite!). Bathroom was... more
