Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa

We took a chance and booked to arrive on opening day at this brand new resort. Little did we know what was in store for us for a girlfriend getaway. Wow......we were the very first guests to arrive. The trip was near perfect. My boyfriend and I (ages 23 and 31) stayed for six days, but wished we extended the trip because we were having such a wonderful time. First thing’s first: the hotel offers a free airport transportation service, so take advantage of it! We just spent 6 days at the new resort (Oct 3-8) and all I can say is FABULOUS!! The resort is first class in every way imaginable. Great food, great service and the beach is great! I will say this about the beach - you can walk about 20 minutes in each direction down the beach from the resort. After that point you get in front of some bare lots (ie condos to be built) and the beaches are not maintained in front. As for the beach in front of the Dreams resort - it is immaculate! My wife and I just returned from Dreams Riviera Cancun after staying from Oct 3 - Oct 10; the resort is about a 20-30 minutes shuttle ride from the airport depending on the number of stops and the driver; upon arrival, "welcome home" you are greeted with a cool towel and glass of champagne; the staff escorts you to chck-in; we received our room upgrade from garden to oceanview; its was our anniversary, so the staff had placed a "Happy Anniversary" banner over our door, along with a bottle of champagne, fruits and chocolates inside; the... more

Just got back from an eight day stay with my wife and boys. The resort is beautiful and the staff for the most part where incredible. Did have some issues and thought they could have accommodated us better. Only complaints are SLOW service in a couple or the dining restaurants 2+hrs., Buffet food was never warm (but that's normal for Buffets), Bathroom in rooms have little privacy for family travel, Didn't get room upgrade as quoted on reservation because it wasn’t available? Just got back tonight. Didn't want to leave. This place is fabulous. We had a great time. Food is def best I've ever had in Mexico. The service was incredible. The hotel is very beautiful. I cant say enough good things about this place. My only complaints would be the water in the room smells horrible!!! Lots of rotten egg smell while you shower. Rooms were great besides that. We had an indoor AND outdoor personal jacuzzi. I will be back to this resort in March!

The resort is wonderful. The food and service was the best of any all inclusive in Mexico I've been to. Great pools with beautiful view of the gulf. Only one compliant. The rooms which again are outstanding, have doors that allow you to hear the staff in the hallway and the guest having a conversation in the room next to you. My wife and I did not mind the conversation except it was very short and repetitive. ;-)

We were the first familly to arrive at the hotel. It was relly a dream. IU can tell you I have been in many hotel in my life, and I know this compagny for few year, and we were very impress about everything. As soon as you arrive in the hotel the lobby the lobby bar are so nice. All the resturant are very good, you have to tried the foie gras at the boreadu and the filet mignin, the italien is very good they made there own pasta. I just finished a 4 day vacation at this resort. It was amazing in every way: The food, the staff, the location, the amenities, and the activities were superb. They were a well oiled machine on their first day of opening. I have stayed in all inclusives before, but nothing compares...no short-cuts here. I am already making plans to go back (I rarely go to the same place twice). I highly recommend this resort.

This newly opened Dreams resort is absolutely amazing. I've stayed at several all-inclusives and usually walk away disappointed with something - NOT THIS TIME. The food is upscale, the buffets amazing and something different everyday. There is no detail left out. What really makes this resort/spa set apart from all the others is the people. The staff is well trained, happy and friendly. Service is perfect. The sceniery is breath taking.
