Crowne Plaza Hotel Kuala Lumpur

A top class hotel. Room was spotless. Staff friendly and helpful. I used both gyms while I was there and could find no fault with them. The appearance of the hotel makes you feel as though you are walking into something a bit special, and it certainly is. It's a shame I only stayed 3 days.

This hotel is brilliant. We stayed for five nights in September. Booked this hotel as the reviews were good and there were such a lot of hotels to choose from. From the minute we arrived the staff were friendly, courteous and very efficient. The cleanliness of the room was excellent. We had booked room only as we intended to sample other eating places, but the food was so varied and of such a good standard we had breakfast each day, one evening meal with room service (steak was great) and three nights. I booked a different hotel online and was disappointed so I decided to tour the city to find a better one. I stumbled upon the Mutiara Crown Plaza and I was so greatful. 300 R a night for a GREAT delux room(free upgrade). I stayed for 7 days and loved every minute. GREAT free buffet breakfast and nice pool. The location was great too- right next to the monorail station! You got to go for this value! I HIGHLY RECOMEND IT!

stayed 4 nights in August from the UK as part of a longer Malaysian holiday. Upgraded to club floor facilities for 138 ringgits a night. This included complimentary breakfasts, coffeee -tea and snacks ttroughout the day, use of internet facilities, 2 items of laundry each day (great way of keeping your favourite clothes clean) and 2 hours 5-7pm each night of free alcoholic drinks. I booked my room for three days stay through the Reservation Manager of the property directly via email. It was done very promptly without any credit card guarantee. As I chose to stay at a room on one of the club floors (21st to 24th) check-in was fairly hassle free and quick. In addition, fresh towel and soft drink were offered at check-in. Stayed here for one night after long flight from Sydney, the staff at check-in, were super, they checked us in very early in the morning after a night flight and the room was ready. What a room, pure luxury..great way to wind down... Cocktails in the bar on our last night were nearly alcohol free!!!!!!! definitely bring your own drink to liven them up.Lovely hotel, but a bit impersonal, exception being the receptionists......Try the spa, its special and a great treat, when the hols are nearly over !!

This hotel is the former Hilton but has been completly and tastefully refurbished. The public areas are very grand, except for the maybe the pool which is a little small. The room was very nicely furnished and had the unusual touch of a large wooden window between the bath and the room which would allow one to watch TV from the tub.

We've stayed in 6 hotels in KL over the last 3 months and the Crowne Plaza comes out the best of the lot. For a start, we were upgraded to a Deluxe Executive room, which was huge and cost about 350 Rinngit per night. It was spotless, comfortable with a very large bed and a desk, settee, chairs and tables, vast bathroom and a wonderful view (well of KL, which isn't the prettiest place in the world, but they can't help that!). We were upgraded to a suite which was very large with a separate sitting area with dining table, two bathrooms (second one doesn't have a shower) and a great view of the Petronas Towers. The staff at the hotel are very pleasant and helpful. Club floor reservations come with lounge access which has free internet, snacks and beverages. We enjoyed our stay here.

stayed at the crowne plaza for three nights as a family of four,2 adults and two teenage boys..full breakfasts were included which was excellent in its range of choice,it was enough to keep you going all day.the rooms were clean and tidy and staff were efficient and helpful,would use it again however i would like to try others as a comparison
