" It was actually Oct 04 I went! First... "

It was actually Oct 04 I went! First holiday abroad with the kids, couldn't of asked for more for the money we paid, its not the Ritz, but its clean, bright and very friendly. Never used the pool due to the fact it was only a 3 min walk down the road past 'spar' to the beach. Best beach I've ever been too, swam out to the rocks everyday, great fun.
We didn't stay in the main building but that was no problem. Served some great 'Morgans Spiced Rum', very generous, needless to say they sold out 2 days later and they didn't get any more for the rest of the holiday. Spar, 50 yards away, all what you need. Actually left our 'spicy' glasses on a shelf when we went to buy stuff!
Great Holiday if you are after something cheap and cheerful. Alcudia only a bus ride away, if I can remember only 3 euros return. Will definately return at some point.

Hotel Panorama Beach is a good standard 2 star hotel located about 100 yards from the beach.
The rooms are fairly basic, but are properly cleaned each day, and the towels replaced.
It is worth noting that every room in the main hotel now have high quality ceiling fans - although it is understood that this does not apply to the annexe.
The staff all speak English, and are very friendly and helpful. Any problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
We stayed on a half-board basis. Breakfast is the standard continental offering of cold meat and cheese, with bread, croissants, and toast. The evening buffet is eat as much as you like, but we found it of basic quality, and better value is achievable at other local restaurants for much the same price. To be fair many guests seemed quite satisfied with the evening meal.
However, whilst we recommend this hotel, it can only be on a bed and breakfast basis.

" This hotel is only rated 2*, however... "

This hotel is only rated 2*, however I believe it deserves more. It is a small, friendly, family run establishment. The accommodation is basic, but spotless!
The room we had contained a large wardrobe, two single beds, 2 beside cabinets, 2 chairs and a large mirror. The bathroom had a good shower, toilet and wash-hand basin. And we had a large balcony, with a table and two chairs.
We where there for a week and our room was cleaned everyday and towels were replaced each day as well.
Breakfast was cold. Choices of cereals, breads and juices, cheese, ham or pate were available as well as tea and coffee.
You can hire bikes and cars from the hotel and book excursions.
The pool area was small, with about 20 sun loungers; it is a sun trap in the afternoon.
The hotel is situated only about 200m from the beach and it is a short walk into Puerto Pollensa town, with its abundance of restaurants and souvenir shops!

We had an excellent week here in mid May. The hotel is as stated a two star, and as such has limitations. The accommodation is basic, spotless and well maintained.
All the public rooms are air conditioned and well served by trained staff. The outside areas and pool region are well looked after and spotless. Plenty of sun loungers and table and chairs with nice parasols, ideal for alfresco eating.
The food is the only area we can criticise, and only because its a little ‘school dinnerish’. Plenty of choice and as much as you can eat, and at 8 euros for a three course meal not expensive.
Just 100 yards from a lovely sandy beach, beach bars and prom. Excellent restaurant 800 yards. Marina and shops similar distance.
The owners and staff of the hotel are welcoming, organised and very good as hoteliers.
We will return.
Couple over 40.

This was a lovely hotel, only 2 minutes from the beach but had its own pool which was very nice & no fighting for sun beds either!
The only thing that I wish I’d known before our holiday was that hotel does hire out fans for your room and they were only 2 euros per night - we didn’t find this out until the night before we came home!!
The hotel food was nice but check the best before dates on purchases from the local shops!!
Recommend that any adults up for a laugh go to see the 'Pirates' show in Magalluf! It was fantastic!

The only negative was on our first night at the hotel, we had been put in a room above the main entrance, which was noisy into the early hours. We asked to move the next day and were given a much better room at the back of the hotel. This hotel would suit families and couples and is ideally situated for the beach and the shops.
