" My wife and I had always walked past... "
Submitted By: Mr MD Crawford
My wife and I had always walked past the Miramar Hotel on previous visits to Puerto Pollensa and this year decided to give it a try.
Excellent location overlooking the Marina and bay and only2/3 minutes walk to the town centre. Hotel has an excellent beach front sun bathing area with plenty of loungers and shade. Staff were very friendly and helpful and overall cleanliness of rooms and public areas was very high. Also an excellent sea front bar where you could relax after a busy day sun bathing or in the evening to sit and watch the strollers up and down the Pine Walk.
We will certainly return next year.

" July 2006 - we have just returned... "

July 2006 - we have just returned from one week in Puerto Pollensa staying at the Miramar Hotel. This is our second time to Puerto Pollensa and our first visit to the Miramar.
We had booked a sea view with balcony and we were not disappointed. Each morning it was a joy to open the curtains and watch the sun come up over the mountains. The room had everything we needed. There was a complimentary bottle of wine, when we arrived in our room. The balcony was large with two chairs and a table. The hotel was immaculate throughout, the staff friendly and helpful.
Puerto Pollensa is a lovely resort, busy but not over commercialised. As we had booked bed & breakfast we ate out each evening in one of the many restaurants. Food was generally very good, but not particularly cheap.
Would we go back, definitely.

" Stayed at the Miramar hotel on 7th... "

Stayed at the Miramar hotel on 7th Aug for one week. We could not have chose a better hotel its in an excellent location on the main pedestrian walkway.
We paid the extra supplement for a sea view room and it was well worth it as the view is beautiful, rooms are cleaned daily and the hotel is spotless, inside its very elegant and typically Spanish.
There are lots of restaurants to choose from and most serve a menu of the day which is a three course meal plus wine but one in particular is Tango's the food is excellent its situated in the road behind the hotel they have a nice terraced garden area playing live music. We would definitely return to this hotel in Puerto Pollensa.

We had exceptional service from friendly staff. The room although at the rear of the hotel had a fantastic mountain view. It was clean and well presented.
Although only on B&B we dined at the hotel on three evenings choosing the set menu which was very good and much cheaper than many of the local restaurants.
Opposite the hotel is a private patio with plenty of sunbeds for the exclusive use of guests, close to the water.
A great place to stay if you like a bit more class than your usual holiday hotel. Highly recommended.
