Best Western Le Nouvel Orleans

This was a really nice and clean hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was in a great location right opposit the metro station. it was good cause it wasnt in a really busy part of paris it was just nice. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone looking for a low cost place to stay in paris. I stayed with my son in this hotel the last week of April 2005. It has a great location, a little away from the center of Paris, but with a great access by the metro & train. Everything is just minutes away using the metro. The nearest metro station is just on the other side of the street to the hotel, Mouton-Douvernet, which is line 4. We stayed at this hotel for five nights. It's very conveniently located in a nice neighborhood south of Montparnasse. The price is great, and the staff were very courteous. My only complaint is that our room was extremely small. I have been to Europe numerous times and I wasn't expecting a large room but the one we were in was claustrophobic. My cousin and aunt stayed in another room, which was essentially a triple facing the street, and their room was three times the size so it really just depends on the room you get. This inexpensive hotel is in a fabulous location, across the street from the Metro station and steps away from shopping, groceries, laundromat, Internet cafe, restaurants, etc. The catacombs are only a couple of blocks away. My room was extremely small, with a particularly tiny bathroom, but it was clean and the location made up for the squishiness. For the price, you can't beat this hotel. I plan to stay here again later this year.

We stayed here 2 times during our trip to France. When we arrived in Paris, we stayed here 4 nights, then on our return from the French Riviera we stayed one more night. We stayed in two different rooms, both were great (there were 4 of us). 2 twin beds, one queen sized pull-out sofa. It was an excellent value and the location could not have been better. It's Right across the street from the metro in a great neighborhood. I would stay here again anytime! Highly recommend it to yoU!

Date of stay: 20-03-2005 to 26-03-2005 Staff was friendly and helpful, most spoke some English. Rooms small but tidy and extra soundproofing for street side rooms worked wonderfully well ! This is a really nice hotel in a great area of Paris, ideal for the first time traveller. We picked this hotel after reading the previous reviews posted. We found the tips on travelling from Charles De Gaulle airport brilliant and you simply get on the B3 train line to Denfert Rochereau and walk around the corner and 400 metres to the hotel. First off let me just say this place was very clean, right across the street from the metro and the staff were very nice. Do not expect much in regards to the size of the room and you won't be disappointed. I went to this hotel with 2 other girlfriends, each of us had our own room. If you get 309 it's a double bed and a tiny single bed in the same room. Kind of cozy for two, perfect for 1. If you get 409, same size but only one double bed.
