Aroma Suites

I could not have asked for a more beautiful room or location than the Aroma Suites on Fira. The owner, Fanes, could not have been a better host. He picked me up at the airport. He answered any questions I had for him with pleasure. He would ask daily "Where are you going today?" and would make suggestions of the best places to eat, the best sights to see. The rooms are literally carved into the cliff of Santorini. The cave room had stone interiors and was beautiful. I give the Aroma Suites my highest recommendations.

Just got back from a 10 day trip to Greece and stayed at the Aroma Suites for 3 nights. Overall my wife and I had a great experience at this hotel. Fanes , the owner, and his wife did an excellent job taking care of all of our needs. He personally picked us up from the airport late in the evening even though our plane was 4 hrs late. My husband and I stayed at Aroma Suites for three splendid nights during our honeymoon. The honeymoon suite, Louiza, (named after the owner's daughter) was absolutely beautiful. Not only had Fanes (the owner) placed a vase of fresh flowers on the counter for us, the built-in jacuzzi tub was surrounded by candles and incense! There can only be one word to describe our stay at the Aroma Suites, "Marvelous". Aroma Suites is one of the best hotel that we have stayed, offering us a very unique Cave-In experience which make our visit to Santorini an even better and unforgettable one. This is a nice little hotel at very good location. It is only 5 minutes walk to the Fira town and the view is fantastic. We booked a room for 3 and get upgraded to the Honeymoon suite which is very nice, I wish we were two...... a must for couple to experience. This is the final stop for us in Greece, and we are glad that we have a small kitchen that we could cook.

What a perfect place to stay! This quaint villa is run by the nicest Greek you will meet, Fanas! He will personally pick you up at the harbor and give directions to everything on the island. He personally bought and refurbished all of the rooms in 2006 and did a fantastic job. We stayed in one of the two "cave" rooms which he calls the honeymoon suites. I did not see the other rooms, but everything is very well done here. I would stay here every time I visited Santornin! The views are unbelievable from the patios right off the rooms.... more

I just got back from a wonderful 3 night stay at the Aroma Suites and I couldn't have made a better choice. This lovely boutique hotel is very central in Fira, yet away from the hustle and bustle of the town. We started our Greece trip in Heraklion, Crete, and then took the ferry to Fira, Santorini. We were welcomed at the harbor by Fanes, the owner of Aroma Suites, who drove us back to his hotel. This made our arrival very simple in that we didn't have to worry about figuring out how to get from the harbor up to Fira, which is a distance by car. I stayed at Aroma Suites for 3 nights and it was amazing. The hotel owner is extremely helpful and hospitable. I enjoyed delicious coffees every morning and majestic sunsets evey night. I was there with a friend and he took great care of us-- even helped booked our hotel on the next island. If you go to Santorini you HAVE to stay at Aroma Suites. Thank you Fenes ;)
