My girlfriend and I stayed at the Amari Vogue resort at the end of April/early May 2008 - we thought it was fantastic. My husband and I just stayed at the Amari Vogue for 5 nites in April. The staff were absolutely amazing and a dream! They will deliver any request. I will sum up the review in Pros and Cons and try to give details other reviewers have not. We visited at the beginning of low season so the hotel was not busy so we actually enjoyed this part. Stayed here for 2 nights in beach front bungalow.The service my wife and i recieved from the moment we arrived to the moment we left from all the staff from the manager down was truly outstanding together with the location;food;accomadation and general atmosphere made for a truly memerable stay.The pictures on the hotels web site do not do the location justice it is stunning.The beach is lovely for peaceful walks.Ao Nang is a 20 minute taxi ride but there are other road side resturants and bars within a10 minute ride but with a great... more

We spent 9 nights at the Amari Vogue and it was simply stunning! The location is spectacular with the beach and the views of the Hong Islands, but the hotel itself is beautifully laid out - all low level accommodation and terraced down to the beach with lots of beautiful infinity pools (some with Jacuzzi) in the centre and elephant fountains. My husband, his parents and I stayed at this hotel for four nights in January. We booked the standard rooms and they we lovely. Large, light, airy, with fabulous bathrooms and good sized seating area on the balcony. Despite arriving late we were still able to eat in the one restaurant that was still open. This was Bellinis Italian restaurant on the beach. We were a liitle disappointed to have to eat Italian on our first night in Thailand but the food was very good all the same. I absolutely endorse what Mrs Godders says about the Amari. Although I did not actually stay (I was at the Sofitel) but I walked here every day to have lunch at the restaurant. The hotel's location is perfect if you want piece and quiet and the Bellini's situation right by the unspoilt beach with lovely views of the islands is most inviting. We have just returned from 10 fantastic days at the Amari Vogue Resort in Krabi. We had a very relaxing holiday and can't wait to go back for another visit. The hotel is located on a beautiful and quiet beach with views of the local islands. There were never more than 3 fishing boats on the whole beach and the fishermen never hassled us to take a trip. Just returned from a very relaxing eight night break at the Amari Vogue If you want a luxury hotel where you can swim , read ,relax and have strolls along a deserted beach then this is the place for you - it was for us I would also recommend splashing out on a honeymoon suite so you can have a jacuzzi wathing the sun go down Max the manager was always on hand chatting to guests and doing a first class job. This is definitely the best hotel I have ever stayed in! We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and we could not have chosen a better hotel. Upon arrival we entered the room and it was filled with rose petals. And at turndown the first evening we received a bouquet of roses! With each turndown they leave some fingerfood in the room - a very nice touch! The poolarea is just amazing! Elephant waterfountains in the pools, sunbeds and massage chairs in the pools... My wife and I only stayed here one night but we thought it was a wonderful property. Great views, good resturants and great service! Both this hotel and the Tubkak are a little isolated if you want to go into town.
