Great Hotel
My wife and I stayed at the AC Cordoba Palacio for 2 nights in June. When you look from the outside you are completely misled as to what awaits inside. If you like modern hotels then this one is superb. Even the standard rooms are designed and laid out fabulously. Great touches like a free minibar which is re filled each day, dressing gowns and slippers. The wet room has a shower on each side so you can shower at the same time if the mood takes you or there is a lovely spa bath. A nice touch is a separate toilet which I wish other hotels... more
Not 5 stars
Good hotel, very modern and clean, reasonable price. The reception spoke very bad English, was not helpful at all. They misguided us almost every time we asked a question. Other than this, everything was fine.
Stylish modern comfortable bedroom with great bathroom
We stayed in the Cordoba Palace for three nights at the end of May. Wonderful position just across the road from the old town. Very modern stylish decor with imaginatively designed and comfortable bedrooms with full length windows - we were on the fifth floor and had a great view. Odd "rusty look" exterior. Well designed bathroom arrangements - separate toilet and bidet; bath with jacuzzi and separate double shower housed in a sort of wetroom (ours was fortunately watertight!); double "tray like" handbasins. Dressing room type... more
Ultra modern hotel with unfriendly staff
We arrived at this hotel and were impressed with its modern design and interesting rooms. However, we were not impressed with the front desk staff. We found them not knowledgeable and since we did not speak Spanish well and despite this being in a tourist area they did not speak much english they were not able to give us any aid in seeing the city. We asked basic questions such as is there a tour company to show is the city? and they did not understand. Our limited Spanish had gotten us through all our other cities, but perhaps the staff... more
A modern hotel 5 minutes from old Cordoba
A modern hotel: original architecture; rooms are large and have an excellent design. Is is very well located: 5 minutes walking to the mesquita. It is easy to get to and has its own car park. Probabily the best place to stay in Cordoba if you like to visit the old part of the city but not to stay there.
Rusty on the outside, Shiny on the inside
The wonderfully unique hotel with it's rustic rusty facades is one of the real finds of our 2 month Iberian trip! Booked into another hotel, which on arrival was unacceptable, we walked into this stunner and were blown away. Outstanding service. Brilliant room. Fantastic bathroom WOW!. Just magic! Oh, and the rathole that I refused to let my wife go near, was actually a few dollars more expensive.
For a very modern experience in an ancient town
Recently stayed at this hotel while meeting friends attending a conference here. The location was fantastic, just across the street from the Alcazar and the entrance to the old city. The rooms were minimalist in style, not my preference but nevertheless quite stylish, with a flat screen TV and a wonderfully comfortable bed. The double shower seemed great, except that the water always ran out under the door. Something similar happened with the flat hand sink that apparently had poor drainage, so the water tended to accumulate and splash... more
What a great hotel !!!
Coming from Sevilla and having stayed at the AC hotel, we didn't expect to much. We were simply blown away by this hotel. It is in my view one of the styliest hotels I have ever been and slightly remembers my of some of the top hotels in Las Vegas. The atmosphere is modern, minimal, clean and the rooms are fantastic. We had a room facing the main avenue with a roomhigh window. The coolest thing though was the bathroom, it consisted of a jacuzzi pool and two roof showers (this means you can shower with your partner at the same time:-)) all... more
Great hotel
We had driven down to Cordoba from Gibraltar and this was the only 5 star hotel available. We had a very good experience with the hotel. Could not get the suite, but the business room was itself very big and nice. The hotel also has an underground parking and is situated on a main road, so we did not have to tussle with the small cobbled roads of old city. The decor of the room is done very tastefully. It is not rustic but ultra modern. The bath along with 2 showers is great. We ordered only breakfast in room service, so cannot comment... more
Greal location
Fantastic recently and completed refurbished 5 star luxury hotel Great location Fantastic room – hi-tech bathroom with double shower and hydro-massage bath. Separate loo & bidet. Walk through wardrobe area with double sink. Lovely bedroom with flat screen TV, very comfy bed, free mini-bar (beers/soft drinks), leather chaise longe Didn’t try meals Lovely roof terrace with pool Downside – queuing for map Asked for towels for by pool & help with parasols, nobody came and had to go back to room to call again
