Be careful of extra charges!!!
from travelhorse60
The Abades Nevada is an ultra modern hotel that is showing some wear already. The rooms were comfortable, but smelled from smoke. We used the spa and did not realize that there was an extra charge $17 per person to use their indoor pool. They said that they would remove the charge, but guess what??? when we got home the charge was on our credit card. Not too honest about their customer service. We would never stay at one of their hotels again. There are so many charming Spanish hotels with honest customer oriented owners. Skip this one.
Excellent Ski base
from GAZnKAZAlicante
Arrived at hotel for two nights, we felt this was a good base to use for a three day skiing trip to the Sierra Nevada, this didn't disappoint. The resort was about 35 minute drive, very straight forward the location was perfect. On arriving the reception staff were very friendly pointing us in the direction of our room which was on the top floor 5th. Everywhere was very warm in fact too warm, our heating system was unable to be altered even when reported to reception. However the room was very compact with all amenities,...

ultra chic hotel
from berryburst
The hotel is in the suburbs of downtown Granada but there is a regular and frequent bus service that runs from very near the hotel (couple of mins walk). The rooms are decorated with an oriental minimalistic theme and the bathrooms are great esp the toilets with all the hot and cold water sprays, jets and drier. Kids loved it. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had to book an extra room between the two families as it has a policy of not more than 3 guests occupancy/room. However we did not use the third room at all as the...

More than we expected
from 7j5
This hotel is much more personal than it appears in photos. Granada was our last stop on our Andalucia tour and though we sought hotels with old world charm throughout, this was a welcome treat. The staff was great, interior stunning and the centro was easily accessible. Definitely a good location if you're traveling through southern Spain by car....

Chic and cheap
from indigor
Not sure, the location is either perfect or awful depending on your perspective. It is just off the ringroad (and I mean just ,the swimming pool is 10 meters from the road.So its easy to find and gett o unlike many hotels in Granada. It is 5 minutes from the Alhambra BUT by car on the dual carriageway. It's a 30 minute busride through fairly grotty suburbs into the city, the buses run every 8-12 minutes and are only 1 euro. Very smart atrium minimalist hotel, perfectly comfortable and restaurant was not bad, we ate excellent...

Never park your car in the street behind the hotel!!
from CedricMonaco
We stayed in this hotel in August and we expected the best after reading all the reviews... and it indeed is a great place to stay. We loved it. Our only fear was that it would be too far from Granada's downtown, but it is not (at least in August when the traffic is not too bad). It's very easy by bus and only takes 15 minutes to get to the center. At night, we took our car. It's not easy though to find a parking space in Granada as you have to avoid all the tiny streets right in the center where it is totally forbidden to park and difficult...

Great modern chic hotel
from Dave-Jersey
This is a funky hotel 25 mins walk from the historic parts of Granada. Easy to find by car and underground car parking for about 10-15 euros a day. Check in staff were polite and the rooms were fantastic. Very modern with nice touches such as the automatic toliet/bidet with lots of buttons to play with. A touch of Japanese design about the rooms, with large comfy beds, hardwood floors and stunning bathrooms. A very well thought out hotel with modern design features. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel and had managed...

Clean, great value and it has a pool!
from Moody_Margaret
I stayed here for a week in August with my family (partner and 2 children, 10 and 13). A 20-minute drive from the airport, it's positioned a little way out of the city but taking a taxi into the city centre is not more 6 euros. The hotel is modern-looking and spotlessly clean. The hotel didn't feel like it was fully occupied maybe that contributed to the slightly impersonal 'shopping mall' vibe though this is a small minus point. The buffet breakfasts are good but I would have liked to see Bucks Fizz on the buffet menu (hey I...

Loved this modern clean hotel
from piamh
I was reluctanant to stay in this hotel when i saw the photos of it (i thought it lacked charm) and read some of the reviews however we booked it because it had a pool and we were traveling to granada in august. we only paid e60 for the room on booking.com and it was the best value ever. the pool was beautiful and so was the hotel. the breakfast was plentiful (fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, croissants, pastries..etc), an extra e10 each, and the staff were most helpful. it is a bit out of town but taxis in are only e4 to the centre and theres also...
